  1. You are from Winnipeg. See if they will go to 80 cents.
  2. OK - now it all makes perfect sense. Plus there are no doubt thousands of tickets available, that also helps.
  3. I think I am going to change my name to Prince McJunkins. Or maybe King McJunkins. I am thinking of a Troy Stoudamire reference here but have been informed that that meme is now dead. So I won't.
  4. I think I made that joke on the old OB forum the day he was drafted.
  5. Shouldn't Drew be a bit more careful about exposing Marcel's playbook?
  6. Olli Jokinen - "OH NO!! I MIGHT HAVE TO PLAY PAST APRIL 11th THIS YEAR!!"
  7. Yeah with Huff's track record he's allowed a Jade Etienne once in awhile.
  8. Yeah during that Dallas game Klingberg looked lost. Good to see the Jets get a starter for a guy that was permanently a third liner on the Ice Caps.
  9. That OT loss to the Leafs was like being hoofed in the balls with a frozen boot at -34C.
  10. Apparently he was released to explore his NFL options. He is leaning toward Sunday Ticket.
  11. It won't be done this season - he's still under contract to his KHL team. I thought the KHL was having problems.. Teams folding and whatnot.. I really haven't followed it at all.. Burmi with Ak Bars and KHL playoffs start this week. Earliest they be done is March 4th. The "Ak Bars"? They must have fun going through airport security....
  12. This just in - Air Canada just announced twice weekly direct flights between Winnipeg and Kladno.
  13. Yeah, if I was the Leafs. That is a pretty high asking price on the draft pick.
  14. He apparently did put on more weight coming into the 2013 season. Probably by taking Viagra before getting onto the scale. Then he should have spent more time working out with Troy Stoudemire. Hey oh!!
  15. All you gotta do is look at what he's doing now that he's outta football. Nothing that requires any serious effort or work ethic. What does he do now? I would guess "politician"?
  16. Yup. I look back at all the dumb things I did in my teens with absolutely no thought at the time to the consequences. My nieces and nephews are no different. Sometimes they listen and refrain from doing something stupid, but most of the time you just have to watch helplessly as they make their own mistakes and then realize maybe you aren't as dumb as you sound, and maybe taking advice from their brain-dead teenage friend isn't a good plan. I can only imagine the insanely dumb things I would have done had smart phones and the internet been around when I was a teenager. Thank goodness they were not.
  17. Looks like Brian Peters is now a Viking. http://www.vikings.com/news/article-1/Vikings-Sign-Former-CFL-Linebacker/0bdd6aa0-9213-4d57-9b88-73c2efc8fc4d
  18. Teenagers make insanely stupid decisions without thought at all to the consequences or how they affect others or their futures. What a surprise.
