No love for Petan or Lemieux? I thought Petan and Copp had some good chemistry. I thought Perrault and Dano had some good chemistry too. Ehlers seemed to have good chemistry with everybody he played with, other than players whose names rhymed with Borburn.

PLD now number one (ok number two behind Matthews)
If that's your definition of poor then I'm coming over later to hang out at your place! Make sure the scotch isn't younger than 18 years, would you old chap?

This guy might still be around with Chicago's pick as a good D man. Really big kid too, would fit in with Myers and Melch. And he shoots left, which I know is extremely important.

Let's hope Connor doesn't end up on a line with Thorbs this year. Actually, I hope Thorbs is no longer on the team next year. Time for Lemieux or Lipon to step up.
When I was down in New Orleans a few weeks ago I was wearing one of my many Jets shirts and a Coyotes fan stopped me on the street to yak hockey. He seemed to be a bit in the know with the team and said that there was a lot of truth to the Coyotes going hard after Matthews as the cache of having a Scottsdale boy on the team would be huge for the local fan base. I pointed out that Tkachuk was also a Scottsdale kid and the son of a former player but that didn't seem to register. The Coyote fan base has tunnel-vision on Matthews right now. I would expect they make a play for #1 over-all once the draft order is decided.
The bottom line is looking good, despite the product on the field. They've bought themselves some time with these GC profits, now start winning guys. Time's up.
Looking forward to watching him in Penticton this fall. I hope the Jets don't pull an Oilers/McDavid and only dress him for one game. That would be crappy.
