The ending of this video is just priceless...

I would argue that those institutions did a lot to undermine themselves. But yeah, now that the election is over, it would be nice to see the media and Trump both stop acting like such immature children.

when I came back from a month-long trip through the Philippines with Mrs. KBF in 2013 I thought that Jollibee would do well in Canada. Just wildly popular over there, and with significant Filipino populations in Vancouver, Winnipeg and Toronto they would be a big hit here. Too bad I never followed up on it!

how would he do that? There are checks and balances in place to prevent this from happening.

I looked through as well and can't spot him. If he isn't the guy with the wild hair then I don't know where he would be. I thought he might be in the group protesting but no one looks like him that I can see.

This is pretty cool. From 2012 but still relevant...

when is the Europa hockey season over? They should sign Ellerby and get him playing again.

https://deathlist.net// MTM Number 48 on the list. I was also wrong about Herman Wouk. He's number 11.

Keaton Ellerby. Not Kellerby. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keaton_Ellerby

all in their goalie gear.

Cormier is waiting patiently by the phone...

I'm not LOL'ing as I took Larkin in my pool, paying for that mistake...took Schiefs too, he's doing well, though suffering from LOL - Lack of Laine.

Larkin born 1996. Scheifele born 1993. 96 - 93 = 5?

I was watching The Dictator yesterday, and this speech really hit home...

Ha ha. He just can't let it go. I do think that Rich's earlier post was spot on. I hope these people actually vote next time, if they didn't this time.

interesting perspective, and definitely supports Johnzo's theory about the cyclical nature of US politics. I think in Canada we follow similar cycles as well. One thing seems pretty universal no matter where you go, after awhile, people want change.

hmmm....well I worked at an oil company in Calgary and then audited many while working on my accounting degree, and I never saw any subsidies. I did see a lot of money going to the government in form of royalties and income taxes. Do you know what these subsidies are for? Are they in the US only?

and that hard-hitting no-nonsense uber-physical yet still plays legal hard-nosed work-horse defenseman we've always needed - Toby Enstrom....

Johnzo - the DNC has a long way to go, that's for sure, and if they do start to turn things around in 2 years it will be a reversal of slide they have been on since 2009. I found this stat somewhere out there on the internet. As we all know you can't trust anything anymore, I don't know if this is true or not: If true, then it is panic time in the DNC right now. I had a lot of people telling me before the election that the RNC was going to lose the White House, and both of the other houses as well. That didn't happen. So lots of work to do.
