Again, I'll absolutely take Chiarot and Morrow over Enstrom in the playoffs...  really liked their physicality in that game
Laine really was great at backchecking and the Copp-Lowry-Tanev line is buzzing
Feel like Ehlers outthinks himself sometimes but that's a pretty minor criticism
Maurice has done a great job finding the chemistry in this team - he's got them rolling.

I can't understand how that was interference (which is now called by the war room in Toronto) when the Neal homerun swing to Helle's head was not interference.  I'd like to cue up those two plays side by side and let non-hockey fans decide which one they thought should be called interference.
I honestly think they roll a dice to determine the outcome.

I didn't see Maurice on the ice last night.  Not sure why this is on him.  Jets did not have their head's in this game from puck drop.  Comrie's teammates let him down, not Maurice.
Chicago is a team 30 points behind us in the standings.  When else do you play your back-up?

whoah, Quick Parker was a nightmare made real (as a football player)
I don't know much about Parker's character but I do know that he's going to heaven, because St. Peter doesn't have Chris Walby to keep him out.

Actually you could see all the ice. Just not the scoreboard without looking at a 13” tv in the rafters in front of each section.
    I’ll agree it was smelly.

I believe they wanted to protect against losing Josh Anderson.  Young physical winger, but I'm guessing he tops out as a 3rd liner.  No logic at all.

A lot of news nowadays is about sensational headlines, #fakenews, mass shootings, sexual misconduct, and a lot of things that tend to have a negative spin.  Main stream news anyway ... sports news is more about well sports news.
I find it refreshing when we get the odd feel good story thrown in.  As you suggest, I think this type of stuff happens more often than not, but what is wrong with celebrating that?    Celebrating simple humanity should happen more often than it does to remind everyone that in general, there are more "good" people out there than scumbags.

Exactly, and yet they are #2 and #3 in all-time losses.  I'm not saying Maurice is anywhere near those 2 as a coach as  they are HOF'ers, but continuously tying the loss record to Maurice's shortcomings is ridiculous.  There are far worse coaches out there that only stayed in the show for a season or two.  They will be nowhere near the top of the loss column.
Tie Maurice's shortcomings to things that are relevant, like loyalty to the vets, PP and line combinations, offensive or defensive structures, etc.  Anything other than the loss record.  The fact he holds the record only proves he has been good enough to coach for about 20 seasons, and started at a very young age.

I don't agree with everything Maurice does, but can we stop harping on the loss record.  Number 2 and 3 on that list are Al Arbour and Scotty Bowman.  The only thing the record proves is longevity, not that he is the worst coach of all-time.  He's also 10th in games coached and 16th in wins.  If he's still coaching at the end of the season, he's likely just outside the top 10 in all-time wins.
I agree with you that he is not likely to change in the short term, but that's human nature more than anything to do with some loss record.

Great job by Maurice this weekend. Had his team prepared and they dominated the Blues two games in a row. A career game from Hutton robbed them of their deserved four points.
Great job by the bottom six as well. They get just the right amount of ice time to be effective in their roles.
