This is strictly based on my own observations, but to me it looks like the soft zone he runs gives the players more space and time to read and react to potential turnover situations. However, on the flip side, I also gives offensive players more room to maneuver when they have the ball, and to get open.

I assume you are referring to the size of the roster being a limiting factor? However, the Bombers have several import positions where the talent needs to be better. Maybe it's just a matter of experience, but what we saw from some positions this year was inadequate.
-
The top tier is not what I'm referring to.
-
He's still not wrong. The Bombers do need better international talent at some positions. I have no quarrel with how the Argos won the GC. It's how the CFL works. Make the playoffs and make sure your team is trending up after Labour Day.

If you will have the goodness - to let me begin by saying - it’s the off season...
-
Feeling compelled to say that it’s the off - season? Post it here - whenever you feel it’s applicable...

You could argue that about any position. What if you had 5 American OL who are the calibre Travis Bond & Stanley Bryant?

There is a drop, but I'm sure if it's the same. I particularly remember being at the game vs. Ottawa when it rained. We had section 102 almost to ourselves. However, we had a great time with a couple of older fellows who were quite knowledgeable.

It makes sense go with the more likely scenario - we both no know which one that is

Ok, a Canadian team in the Stanley Cup finals would be an issue - once in 10 to 15 seasons, same with the Blue Jays in the World Series. However, what the about annual drop in attendance due to late fall / early winter weather conditions? Not the Grey Cup but the semis and the final.
-
Also, the Lions’ OL was average at best.

Start person X at MLB, change to someone else the following season. The next season, start person X again & ask the safety et. al. to cover some of his territory. That’s not looking back far enough.

As someone who works with teenagers - I can tell you that even the most devoted fans would rather be doing something else by the time the cup final rolls around.

The ‘05 defense was outstanding at the start of the year. Teams didn’t seem to have a clue what they were doing. But then Coach Rust left...

We all know what happens in Winnipeg when cold weather comes. Even season ticket holders don’t show up - much less the walk up crowd...
-
Well, there is also the possibility of making regressive moves - we definitely saw some of that this year.

He found ways to get pressure on BLM in the 2016 GC, after BLM had literally been playing QB in his living room all season.
-
I don't entirely disagree with you - but we could also keep the status quo at MLB if we wanted.

OL: only two regular Canadian starters DL: really only one full - time starter. When he went down they had to start 4 Americans Rec: outside of Harris, most teams have better Canadian receivers
-
Ummm, that's just a tad premature
-
Yes, there is, and it goes beyond the last four years. This is a team that did not draft well (or not at all) for a long time and did not have a stable of young Canadian players in place. Our best Nationals (Westerman, Harris) were acquired via free agency and we don't have enough good National OL. That's why this team has taken longer to get on right track - the cupboard was bare when they started. Bottom line: in the CFL you need a QB and then you need quality Canadian players.

Don't know if y'all remember the highlights where BLM was doing the 'too easy' taunt after a TD. How easy is it now?

Busch - good pizza doesn't required anything complicated

1990. I was listening to the game while doing the evening milking. Planning to make the most of 2017 - wife is making pizza and beer's in the fridge.
