  1. You can't be a one-dimensional team and "make a serious push". You have to have at least a serviceable passing game to compliment the running game, which is uncertain if we even have that at this point.
  2. I would have a hard time singling out anyone player for a loss, no matter how big or small. I was just pointing out that the game in question, was not just the coaches who would be to blame, as you so stated.
  3. I'd just be happy if Buck stayed moderately healthy at this point. I'm not naive enough to think that a mirror image of Buck from 2011 is going to emerge this season. He's hopefully made the adjustments to his athleticism, that can make him at least more mobile than last year. If that can translate into someone that is serviceable for the time being, I'll be content with that.
  4. If you had stated it once in your own post it would have been clear to know what you were talking about.
  5. That debacle wasn't just on the coaches. It was an team completely unprepared, but also a team completely inept and unable to execute. That one goes to the players as much as the coaches.
  6. You referenced the stadium first did you not? You asked “Who designed the stadium?” and then said “I agree that whoever did the design got it totally wrong.” You mentioned the press box after that. I interpreted it based on how you wrote it.
  7. Considering he didn’t play a hell of a lot last year, it’s not a surprise that’s when you remember seeing him run at his best. If he did the right things conditioning wise in the offseason, and his physique suggests that he has, the coach’s playbook should include plays that make him move his feet more. If they allow him to be more agile and not stand there like a sitting duck, maybe he will have more success. But like I said, he has to make smart decisions and know when to surrender a play.
  8. Nothing saying that Buck can’t still be a good two-dimensional player. He can still make plays with his feet. It’s the how the plays end that need to change. Get rid of the ball, hook-slide, run out-of-bounds, and do what your coaches are asking of you.
  9. Cameron should be invited to be on the PR, imo.
  10. They may see some things in Dunn that they'll try to correct in the next week perhaps. Dunn plays special teams too and was the one that laid out the first block that sprung Massey on the returned missed field goal. Maybe that saved him for now.
  11. I wouldn't say they got it totally wrong. That's a bit of an overstatement to say the least. There are a lot of great things about the place that were done right. The open air concourse being one of them. If you haven't seen the stadium yet live in person, you should before you make a bold statement like that.
  12. It depends on when this injury happens, how many games we've won before it happens, and most importantly, what the backups do while he is injured.
  13. I have a bunch of friends that are mounties, and a few of them shared this video. Thought it was interesting to say the least.
  14. Harris and Collaros were pretty even stat wise, and yes Harris does have a cleaner throw, and probably looked marginally better. Harris seems to me though that he wouldn’t be able to establish himself as much if he was blitzed more often. I could see a different outcome if he was under more pressure, which he clearly wasn’t. I’d also say from a strict confidence level, Collaros looked to have the edge between the two.
  15. Yup, Doug in every way, is still emotionally attached to this team. He is just taking that strong personal approach to the team, as a lot of former players would.
  16. I'm truly surprised at the responses of some posters here. (Not naming names)
  17. Looking to see how he responds to a good hit will be interesting. I am also interested to see what his blocking capabilities are like. I am assuming he will be playing special teams too.
  18. There are studies that likely prove both sides, so just because you read books that say one thing, doesn't mean there aren't other books that prove the opposite too. And to answer your question, I said that it is probably safe to assume he wasn't using anyways.

  20. There are some other things in addition to meta-tags that can be altered to help boost search engine rankings as well. Such things like the site title and description, which should incorporate the terms "blue bombers" and "fan forum" in them. It should be an easy adjustment, but what do I know...
  21. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/story/2013/06/10/mb-cfl-bombers-hefney-marijuana.html In this case, your theory proves wrong, if he indeed was high at the time. Going nearly 20 kph over the speed limit does not constitute safe driving.
