  1. Pants will indeed be gold and only gold. Blue pants are not in the plans.
  2. For anyone asking about sizes, they fit very similar to the most recent Reebok ones, meaning a little more form fitting around the torso. Also the body fabric is back to a classic mesh style.
  3. He wasn't in blue pants because there are no blue pants.
  4. A few comments about the other teams: -Several teams removed the shoulder numbers. Looks like Wpg, Tor, Ham and BC will have them. -#RNation? SMH. Can't see that lasting more than a season. -Save for the "tramp stamp", the BC road uniforms are my second favourite. Their entire new look is eye catching. -Any team that is incorporating stripes for their 4 Grey Cup wins, needs to win more Grey Cups.
  5. I suspect you'd have to add in Bucknor and as such remove Loffler. Move Waggoner to DB too, but probably splitting hairs there. Otherwise pretty slick.
  6. Not everyone's jersey redesign will be as drastic as ours, There's nothing wrong with that. Their jerseys are pretty decent looking already, so why fix it if it ain't broke?
  7. Pre-order now guys, in the store. First 500 who do will receive a free hat and player name t-shirt. $209.99 customized.
  8. It was a manufacturer's flaw, which Adidas has taken responsibility for.

  10. If the don't do Wild as WIL, Leggett at SAM and Bass in the middle, I don't see how this combo would work.
  11. During play, meaning during the normal flow of the game. One of the goals behind the video official is to not even know that he is there. No one referee can always see what another one sees. If a bunch of players are getting into a scrum, the video official can be the final word as to which player(s) should be flagged. It's done on the fly, when the on field refs would be conversing anyways.
  12. I read the article and I don't get where you're getting that Brown's understanding is that there will be "many game stoppages". He's over-exaggerated his opinion in my eyes, but I don't see anything that says he is suggesting what you've said. There is an implication that there will be responsibilities to review plays that would not otherwise be challengeable to a larger degree, but that isn't the case. Glen Johnson was at IGF yesterday and he explained these video review officials would not be looking at every play to determine missed calls by the on field referees, but rather sort out inconsistencies between them while they are in their huddle. This is the planned purpose which hopefully doesn't affect the speed of the game at all. He went on to say that if this ends up increasing the length of games, they have failed at its implementation.
  13. This seems so trivial. Does this happen so often that it needs to be policed?
  14. So you want them to just step aside and let the returner score? Neat.
  15. Can't agree with your any more Rich. This is probably the most frustrating aspect of working with this certain food services provider. The problem goes deeper than just the concessions too. There is a lot that is being addressed with them as we speak. Hoping that these discussions result in improvements to the training and processes they employ this season.
  16. Both should have a good opportunity to catch on somewhere.
  17. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has released International defensive tackle Bryant Turner and International wide receiver Clarence Denmark. “These are the types of difficult decisions that must be made throughout the offseason,” said General Manager Kyle Walters. “Both Bryant and Clarence have done great things for this organization both on and off the field for a long time now. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers sincerely thank both men for the dedication, hard work, and effort they put forth. We wish them the very best moving forward.” Both Denmark and Turner originally signed with the club in 2011.
  18. It was Molson who bought out GI a number of years ago. I am shocked to say this, but I actually think their stuff has gotten better since then. Surprising considering I'm not a fan of Molson as a beer conglomerate.
  19. Tried Infamous the other day. An IPA by Granville Island. Probably one of the best IPAs I have had in quite some time.
