  1. It's unfortunate whenever someone is taken out because of a hit, but it's a contact sport, how can you reasonably draw the line?
  2. This to a tee. The odds were fairly close. There are a lot of fans talking out of anger which is understandable but in reality, we go back again to hindsight being 20/20. Poor decision because it didn't work.
  3. I would argue that completely. After getting to know the people who would be in charge of making the decision on Osh's new contract, it would be irrelevant. The results are the results, award recognition or not.
  4. Doesn't it have to be one from the West and one from the East?

  6. "Rookie" coach who finished with the best record in forever. That usually will trump most other candidates, despite any turnarounds.
  7. Bond got injured in practice yesterday. Not sure on his availability for the game this week.
  8. In all honesty though, how could you argue it would NOT be a West division sweep?
  9. Medlock beats Parades in nearly every way and is perfect on converts, while Parades has missed 7 of them. Rainey's a wild card but I don't think he has been as consistent as Medlock.
  10. IMO: -Medlock a "lock" for league MOST -Leggett and Loffler legitimate should get some major consideration as well.
  11. RE: Maas Found the audio from his interview yesterday. 10 minutes, but quite comical. https://omny.fm/shows/ched/nov-1-hc-jason-maas-discusses-his-concerns-about-w
  12. Thanks a lot Rich, way to step up. Spoke with Barron on numerous occasions last year and he is a real down to earth guy. I'll be pitching in a few more bucks today.
  13. That's what I thought. The fact they traded away next year's 1st rounder means they are just delaying the inevitable to 2018. What if they keep trading away their first rounders every year?
  14. I personally am content with whenever a team relocates, the old team's history ceases, and the new franchise starts creating its own history starting from scratch.
  15. So Montreal gets something of value for a draft pick that they essentially no longer would have had??
  16. It makes sense why people would want it. I get it, and accept it, but to me it's not right. This is more Winnipeg hockey history and the Jets name should remain out of it because the two franchises are not the same. The new Jets Hall of Fame is not accurate in my opinion and I still question if the team had been called something else from the get go back in 2011, how much of this are we still talking about today?
  17. The Als have to pay them their remaining 2016 salary. Basically, it's paying them to stay away.
  18. Won't be surprised one bit if Johnson has played his last game as a Bomber.
  19. The Canadian Football League (CFL) today announced that Winnipeg Blue Bombers defensive back Bruce Johnson has been suspended for two games effectively immediately after testing positive for a banned substance under the policy of the CFL and Canadian Football League Players’ Association (CFLPA). Statement from Winnipeg Blue Bombers General Manager, Kyle Walters: “We are disappointed with Bruce and his decision, but I trust no one is more upset in his actions than Bruce himself. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers fully support the policy on performance enhancing drugs, and we trust Bruce will learn from his mistake moving forward.” Statement from Bruce Johnson: “I take full responsibility for my decisions and accept the disciplinary action. I apologize to my coaches, teammates, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers organization and Bomber fans, and will use this as a learning opportunity for myself. I hope to return following my suspension and help our team continue the push toward the playoffs.”
  20. Yeah the service fee would be $5.25/ticket so you would have paid another $26.25. The Co-op deal would have been great for you as the service fee is included. In your case using the Co-op 4 pack you could have gotten the tickets AND a parking pass and then bought the 5th ticket separately and spent $171.25.
