Riders have had very good late round draft picks the last couple years. Steinheurer, Vonk, Anthony, Moore, Webster, Etc. Those aren't exactly "very good" picks.

Sask., Edmonton, Toronto, B.C., Calgary, Montreal, Hamilton have all used more than one RB's during games to mix things up. Bombers are the only team that has relied on a single back so as to not confuse their opponents with trickery. Why are you defending the Bombers approach to running? The stats. speak. We've used Paris Cotton, Troy Stoudermire, Carl Volny and MP Pontbriand out of the backfield at certain times this season. I'm defending their approach because the impression you have is wrong.

Why is it that you seem to be treating it that for every person that says he is tough, it ups the general opinion of how tough he is. If Noeller is the first person to say "man, Drew Willy sure is tough" and then 50 people agree with him, that doesn't suddenly mean that Noeller said "MAN, DREW WILLY COULD WRESTLE A BEAR" I haven't heard any outlandish claims. I just see a lot of people observing that he's a pretty tough son of a *****.

If he was REALLY tough he'd break his own leg and then play on it just to prove a point. What a wimp.

I never thought we'd get there so fast but it really sucks the way the rules are designed. Our junior players are too young to play in the AHL and too dominant to play junior. They need a solution. Perhaps special exemption status, like they do for underagers in the CHL. I don't think there's any argument to be made against the opinion that Petan and Morrissey would both be best served played on the Rock.

Morrissey and Petan will be the prospects knocking on the door this year. Petan's size worries me but his vision is amazing.

Tino looked great. Much better game against a good Ottawa defence. He certainly didn't look GREAT. He played much better in the second half than in the first, but great? No. Good enough to beat a crappy team? Yes.

Well yeah no kidding and that's not unfair of the fans to be like that either. It's not rocket appliances, I'm going to be more accepting of penalties taken by a player who actually contributes positively. As it stands right now, I bet if you looked at it and balanced out the net yards by Romby between his offensive gains and his penalties, he's likely close to being in the negative.

I'd venture to say that if they had connected two or three times over this spell, talk about Bryant would be different. I wouldn't. I saw him catch that 70 yarder that got called back on a penalty and I still think he's horrible. He may have speed to burn, but he has no awareness of the ball in flight and just like the first time he was here, he shows ZERO fight for a contested throw. Couple that with stupid penalty after stupid penalty and a turnover and I have no use for him.

I think he's an idiot but it's more because of his stance on players not being allowed to show any kind of individuality whatsoever while on the field. This is just typical NFL stuff.

If you know OL worth bringing in as developmental projects right now, please let the club know. Let me spin this another way - when was the last time an offensive lineman who signed his first CFL contract in the month of September became anybody worth mentioning? Never.
