Love Andrew Harris but as much as I hate to say it, RB is a largely disposable position (whether it be the NFL or CFL). From a cap management perspective, it doesn't make a lot of sense spending in this area.

200K for Lucky 165K for Burnham 250K for Lawler I guess they are "saving" with Rourke being on a somewhat friendly deal right now but the amount of money they'd have locked up in three receivers without ever addressing their offensive line (or any other aspect of their team) is questionable. It's great to have guys to catch the ball but if the guy throwing it to them is getting killed every play, I'm not sure how sustainable that is.

Geebus .. if you have to spell out his level of commitment is he REALLY the man you want to pin your hopes on? I'm happy for us, we keep a quality individual and Edmonton, while they may be a bit tougher stop on the schedule, will continue to be a dumpster fire when it comes to accountability.

For them, it's going to be a matter of them committing to rebuilding and staying the course. They aren't one or two pieces away. It's a fundamentally flawed team. The question is will the management have the fortitude to stick to that plan in the face of pressure.

I don't think the play calling changed as much as it was them getting their protections figured out. First half, Zach didn't have time to operate. Second half, fourth quarter in particular, Zach had time to throw. The offense simply executed better. If anything, I commend Buck for staying balanced in his approach.

Aside from Nick Taylor on the Duke Williams TD .. feet came right out from under him. Would have been a big play regardless but there may have been an opportunity for it to end there on the sidelines if Taylor could have kept his footing.

Wasn't as much a fake slide as it was an athlete reacting in the moment. In either event, it was a brilliant play and probably the last time you ever see it in college football.

One thought that I had about the first half is that it felt like guys were trying to do TOO much as opposed to playing within themselves. Changed at halftime. Like they took a collective breath and said "this isn't us".

One of the stark differences between this team and the Rider team we faced was their demeanour when things weren't going their way. Many have already touched on it but there was a sense of calm, a "we've got this" whereas on the few missed opportunities the Riders had .. they were pointing fingers, yelling and throwing a fit (Duke on the overthrow from Fajardo which would have been a walk in), they were agitated .. they played like individuals. We played for one another.

This. I get that everyone is on “the catch” but the hand in the back .. the push off so he could make a play on the ball .. what are you watching refs?
