Given the way we've used our PR and recent additions .. he'll never see the active roster and be released at the end of the year.

We lost three games we had no business losing so, unfortunately, every game we play until the end of the year is a "big one". Not saying we have to win out but dropping any of our remaining games doesn't make me feel good about securing a direct trip to the West Final.

It's not like he got much of a chance to see the field while he was here. Spot duty due to injuries - acquitted himself nicely - sent back to the bench. Maybe he's looking at playing with his brother in Edmonton?

That’s my bad .. for whatever reason I thought he was American.

Eli is simply a more physical player and is a NI to boot. Starting him just gives you more freedom to dress playmakers in positions of need.

This. Our best is better than ANY other team’s best in this league and there’s no reason we should be this inconsistent. We won’t play lights out every week but showing up looking ready to go? That’s a really low bar and we’ve failed to meet that a number of games this season.

It’s because he’s been really bad at times .. like standing around with a dump in his shorts bad at times.

He reminds me a little of Robert Bean .. relies a little too much on his athleticism and is sometimes burned by it.

He’s been saving himself for the final three minutes of the game.

This is Labour Day redux.

Ran right over Bighill .. had him dead to rights in the hole and couldn’t make the stop.

We are seeing what a defence without Jackson Jeffcoat looks like. We are light up front but that’s only magnified when you don’t have a bookend like 94 out there.

Guys .. going to ask this once: keep the comments on the game and not each other. Emotions are all over the place in a typical game day thread and it’s only amplified when the team doesn’t perform as expected - be mindful of that. With that said, Go Bombers and bring on a (better) second half.
