You have to think the Riders would have budgeted to have some money socked away to offer Dressler or Sheets or both a contract if they didn't make the NFL. If they didn't, then Taman should be looking for his next gig.
-
They should redo this with Henry in it wearing that helmet.

I never hope for injuries on opposing teams. If you can't beat a team legitimately, then get better yourself. At some point the wins / losses between the two divisions need to start evening out as inter-division games get played more. Although other then SK / BC next week, it is all East vs West again. For sure we are in tough in the West, but we are still well into the thick of things. Hopefully we get back on track starting with next week.

BC gets a pick 6. Game over.
-
We've had 9 teams before. Going through an adjustment period to get more lineman playing time and experience
-
The problem is Toronto is on a short week. Just like we were when we played them.
-
Man, it is hard to cheer for Toronto, but really need them to win this game.
-
Found it. It sounds like they can sit and wait a year if they don't want to sign with the team. http://cfldb.ca/faq/rosters/
-
Isn't there also a window, where after a player or agent declare that they want to come up to the CFL, if the team who has their neg rights can't sign them, they can go elsewhere?

I certainly won't claim to be an expert on Hutterite colonies, but I do believe whether you live in a democracy, communism, capitalism, or whatever, there is good and bad in all walks of life. But that, unfortunately, tends to be human nature. You could easily pick out atrocities and horrible things that have been done in all of those societies. It really comes down to people, you will get both the good and the bad everywhere.

Burmi Says He Will Return to NHL Next Summer
Rich replied to The Unknown Poster's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
After all of the time Maurice spent coaching in Russia, I would be very curious to see what Burmi can do while on his team. As for whether or not be would fit into the roster, I'd say we still need all the help we can get. -
Part of this comes from the lack of a running game and us in a 2nd and long way too often and getting the heck blitzed out of us.

Rumour that I heard was he made a stupid comment on Twitter regarding one of the sponsors of the show. Only a rumour though.

There will be another opening on the morning show. Think they bring Jay back? https://twitter.com/Jay_Richardson/status/499664139963613185

Is Bob Wetenhall The Worst Owner In CFL History?
Rich replied to USABomberfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I think Glieberman or Feterik would have to take worst owner in CFL history. -
The sad part is that Alex Brink might actually be a better QB to start then Troy Smith.

Wanted to post an early reminder that with the Bomber game being on a Tuesday this week, the deadline to get all of your pickems' in for the week is the Tuesday game. I agreed with what you said up to this part. What qualifications are needed to prove it's not the word of God? How do you prove/disprove a divine power exists? It's not unreasonable to have a healthy skepticism about a God dictating a book to somebody thousands of years ago.You are right. It is just as unreasonable to argue that it isn't then that it is. Which is really the point of that statement. TUP wants to keep going until he can get someone who is religious and believes in the bible to admit that it is flawed and not the actual word of God. I was only representing the counter argument. We live in a society that grants freedom of religion. You are entitled to believe what you want. No one is going to win this debate and change each other's mind. It is a ridiculous argument to be having. And yes I include myself in that statement for continuing to reply.
-
Let me preface with this statement. I'm not religious at all. Was raised catholic, but certainly not practicing. But I respect people that do The opinion of a lot of people, which a tactic you seem to enjoy using and representing a lot in your posts to try and make your points, really means nothing. A lot of people once thought the Earth was flat. In fact, a more accurate statement is that it is an argument that YOU find amusing or silly or both. You are not the voice for "a lot of people". You are only the voice for yourself. Man up and take responsibility for your thoughts and statements for yourself instead of hiding behind what you perceive to be generally accepted fact. And your second statement about accepting science and logic as equal or over religion as more important is also a personal preference to you. Not fact. I will give credit to Mark and Max in this thread. While you have gone out of your way in this thread to try and stomp on and discredit something that is obviously very important to who they are and their core belief systems, they've done nothing to insult your core beliefs back by calling you silly or stupid or ignorant for what YOU believe. But I guess that is the beauty of attacking those religious beliefs. Because if they are true to their religion, they will "turn the other cheek" and "not throw stones", while if they do come out and attack you as you do them, you can call them hypocrites. Which I suspect is all you are really looking for here. Is to incite and inflame, and get a reaction. You've already declared yourself ignorant on the bible and its messages, so I dare say you aren't qualified to proclaim it is not the word of God. If you can't find fault and argue the words in it, then how could you not understand how people would believe that a divine power would intervene in the writing and translation of it....
