Tragic for the young 22 year old man and his family. Tragic for Dalke’s family, the Riders and their fans. Tragic for Dalke (foolish and senseless way too early death) in that if all of the details released so far are true. It makes for a very difficult situation for the Riders (how do you honor that player?). It makes for a very tough situation for the CFL (one of the leaders of last year’s Grey Cup Championship squad did something horrible and disgraced the role as a player). TSN (who spent at least a half hour on Sunday’s broadcast with incomplete info) are going to have to somehow walk this back. Knowing who the panel/spokesmen on the football broadcasts are, this may not be pretty. All in all the only thing this does is serve as a powerful lesson to younger folks, money and fame don’t bring true happiness. Doing the things in your life that make you a good person do.

DEI ALERT 🚨
😉

Thing is the new 3rd jersey or whatever it is called has a W on the front no number and it just doesn’t look right for football 😳
I guess the Bombers never learned from 10 years ago 😛

Darren Cameron says there 1000 tickets remaining, gonna be a tough push.

Yep, its the Lions year alright … to suck.
Sounds vaguely familiar 😉

My take …
QB:
very good to great save for the pick, which I still think should have netted us at least a RTP
Receivers:
Nield, Wilson, Demski, White in that order all very good to great (didn’t notice anyone else on the rec core)
RB: needs more reps but the score obviously dictated somewhat
Oline:
needs improvement
Dline:
missing in action
LB:
see dline
DB:
see dline
ST:
returning was OK
Kicking:
Good but needs to be better
Punting:
Didn’t notice so must be OK
Coaching:
Offence - great
Defence - not so great
Head coach - Meh

Happy for Helle.

Congrats Connor Hellebuyck, without you the USA doesn’t get a sniff of that Gold medal 👍🏻 BTW, are we going to start calling him Connor McLoser?

If you didn’t think our coach is feeling some heat check out his comments about the crowd. We got a huge French population Scotty. You live here you should know this. I feel that’s a sign he’s lost the room a bit. When you worried about who is in the stands.

This team sucks.

Check out the 2025 Winnipeg Jets 😉

I sure did enjoy his playmaking abilities at the WJ’s. Regardless the Jets need some infusion of young elite talent to help support their core.

Read an article today he would be open to a change of scenery.

Haydn Fleury will remain in hospital overnight. He suffered a broken nose in addition to other injuries likely another concussion, More tomorrow

Oh, oh, livin' on a prayer ... (literally form management and coaching 😁).

Nice goal by our prospect Freij against Finland.  Too bad it was on his own net!  He should fit right in lol...

We have an elite core so I’m hoping it’s an ongoing re-tool to get us back to the top 1/3 of the league and not a complete rebuild where you never know how long it will be when it pays off e.g the Sharks

It sucks but...  **** happens. They were #1 in the whole league last year. They can't be THAT far off.

and yet because of that pain that year we got Dale Hawerchuk.  As a wise person once told me - there is no great loss without some small gain.  You have to look at the long game.  We've ridden this core group for a long time with the Jets and had some good times.  Just like the Bombers have ridden a core group for a long time.  Now comes the pain.  It always does.  But some day, we will rise again.

Here we go!
