I think we should give him starting money based alone on his sneaking skills.

I certainly hope that the people within the WBB organization have a better idea.  That would be a huge risk to pin the season on Streveler as your #1.

You guys have fallen in love with the cigar smoking, beer drinking, fur coat wearing and shirtless Chris Streveler.  He's become a fan favourite due to his persona not his abilities as a QB.  It reminds me somewhat to Mike Commadore who was with the flames during the 2004 Stanley Cup run. His big red hair sticking out from his helmet, wearing his robe in public and drinking beer in public with the fans.  All Flames fans wanted him back because they fell in love with the guy and completely ignoring the fact he was just a mediocre defenceman who would be the #7 or #8 on most teams roster.  The only reason he was playing is because of the number of injuries to the starters.  Commodore signed a big contract but never lived up to the hype.
 

Actually I would say that does play into his decision, he has to way the pros and cons of paying for zach vs the Canadian talent that is available. My point was meant to target that a Canadian de was leaving and really the only way to replace him would be the draft.

Also penn state product Daniel Joseph. Doesn’t have much for playing time, but when he did, there was production from his end.

Considering these guys have nfl experience and come from big time programs, they should blow everyone out of the league right? This is not true. In the early rankings this year 8 out of the top 10 players come from NCAA programs, with the other two coming from Laval. One of the Laval players is also getting invites to showcase games down in the states. While this year there isn’t a lot of depth to the draft, the first two rounds are full of talent.

So go into the season only with a qb who has a handful of starts and the back up being a qb who has 3 throws all together? Yikes

So I think MOS will stay here, but their is massive baggage with zach, injury, the 1st rounder with him. Zach won a cup he may chase the most money now.

Losing couture is fine imo, speller did fine and tui has potential to be one of the best. Little know but when he was in college he was in consideration for an award (can’t remember the name of it) for the best centre in all of college football! Granted college is different than the pros. And I doubt collaros wants to move again. My thought would be he would like to go east. Most likely Toronto or maybe even Hamilton back up?

I said....." things are looking up at the QB position it seems now "..... I never claimed nothing but that, yer gonna have to find somebody else to pretend argue with...I am havin another beer and reading all the fun stuff from today's parade now....

And if strev continues with his way being a rb at qb, then what? 

Don’t forget Toronto too! I think fans are just gonna have to deal with losing a qb wether it be Matt or Chris or McGuire, I don’t think all 3 of them are back 

If there were any doubts about Walters' smarts and ability to shepherd this team, the results of acquiring Collaros and the horses on the D-line and O-line should remove them. Without Collaros, we would have bowed out in the first round, and probably would have had our butts kicked.
