It is amazing you missed the clock management, making calls at the line, quick reads, evading pressure, accurate throws (including the 1st TD), shaking off a high hit, and the 15-20 yard run that set up the winning TD.

Moving forward I believe the target is for Wolitarsky to play inside fulltime and potentially start him, Demski and Petermann, keeping in mind Harris turns 33 this season and will probably miss a few games for maintenance.  There will be 2 import playmaker/returner types on the roster, one DI and one "starter" for ratio purposes but really a free backup.  Grant is probably the DI, Whitehead, Nelson and other training camp signings will be in play for the second spot.  Probably keep moving forward with 6 locked in NI's on O and 1 locked in on D.
So in terms of JFG you swap him onto the roster for a guy like John Rush.  99% of his role will be special teams and there's the odd time he'd be used on O as the third slot to come in the box and block a blitzer or as injury replacement.
I firmly believe the Bombers #1 target in free agency (aside from our own guys) is a difference making boundary WR, Derel Walker.  I think Rhymes or Posey would be the consolation prize and if they get none of the three they might go back to Darvin Adams.
 
Starters would be:
Big free agent signing, Lawler, Wolitarsky, Demski, Petermann
Whitehead/Nelson/guy who makes the team and Janarion Grant plus JFG and maybe another depth NI guy who can play teams well.

Professional football is professional football. You can’t say how Nichols would have done in the second half without playing the games but only speculate. But I think a lot of people would disagree with you on the fact that I don’t think we win the grey cup if it’s not for Nichols being this teams starting qb.

Yeah, that 7-2 start certainly didn't help the team make the playoffs or anything. Oh, wait...
Also, your bolded part is wrong. Nichols' QB efficiency vs. CGY in week 9 was 100.2 (in a win), while Streveler's in week 19 @ CGY was 59.2 (in a loss).
It looks like your NDS is starting to flare up again, causing you to post made-up claims and hopelessly ignorant comments. It's amazing the lengths you'll go to vilify the former. And by amazing, I mean pitiful.

They have their Canadian wrs locked up, plus lawler, and Bailey/whitehead/Nelson fighting for the slot. That leaves on wr position open. With some of the recruits coming in, I think money could be spent elsewhere. 

Thank you for being instrumental in leading this team out of a dark place and playing a huge role in leading this team back to glory. I'm completely convinced we would not have developed the culture of success to be a perennial playoff team and winners of the Grey Cup this season without you.
Wherever you go from here I will always be a fan of yours and wish you nothing but success (except against the Bombers).

Matt Nicholls has been released. I want to thank him for his play the past 4 seasons & elevating the Bombers from an also ran to Grey Cup contender. I want to wish him all the best wherever in the CFL he ends up playing. I agree that while he didn't get us over the finish line he got us in position to do it. Another reminder that a player's career in football can be over in the snap of two fingers because of injury or the path one was on significantly altered.

This is an unbelievably bad contract. I am gobsmacked. I guess there was a hefty price to pay to lure him away from Toronto after all.
