Guys.  Keep the discussion on football.
Jets stuff can go to that forum and petty personal jabs can be left at the door.

Not really the place but I have first-hand knowledge of what it's like having a spouse go through chemo while having young kids at home. It's so incredibly draining on everyone and it feels endless. **** cancer!

@Booch I thought I respectfully disagreed with one part of your post and even liked it and agreed with the rest, but you can't handle anyone having an opinion that goes against your 'expertise'. Then not for the first time this season said that I'm not watching (before, you told me I was too busy pissing and snacking). This "don't you know who I am" act is also tiresome and played out. Don't high road me when you've been on this forum personally attacking other posters kids you haven't even met! Don't make me go dig up the post, you know exactly what sort of jerk you're capable of being.

Sorry to the rest of the forum for having to read this BS, I know its exhausting.

Collaros has not been consistently good this year. Zero doubt now that Brady O is the unquestioned MOP for the Bombers.

yeah the Argos are reminding me of the Vikings last year in the NFL - won a lot of games by pure dumb luck and then melted in their first playoff game when the going got rough.  I'm glad we won (and I won't discount the fact that when they put their 3rd stringer QB in they basically were saying "please win, here it is on a platter") but man it shouldn't have been that close.

That argument makes sense until you consider we lost to both Ottawa & Hamilton. As far as easy teams go, we played Edmonton when they had Corn Head playing qb along with Calgary. We split our games with the Riders so what's that say?? We're good but we aren't well prepared which comes down to coaching.
In Toronto, say what you will about an easy schedule with crap teams in the East... but their team is prepared to play every game & they look absolutely dialed in. I hate to say this but the Argos go out & kick ass every time they play. What do we do? If we feel like it we play hard & win. Other times we put it in cruise control & eventually find a way to win games...  In the fourth quarter because we got behind as we played awful. Or we just went out & **** the bed.
There seems to be an issue with the Bombers. Is it coaching? Is it players not being ready to play? Overconfidence? Arrogance? Age? I have no idea but we are beyond a doubt, a real Jekyll & Hyde team. I see as lot of the 2014-17 Mike O'Shea this year. He doesn't seem to hold his players accountable if they play badly. Roster management is in question. He just smirks on the sidelines when we're losing like it's no big deal. Hey, we're 10-4 & we all should be happy but we're not. The problem is, we have no idea what kind of a 10-4 team we are. Can we make another GC run or are we one & done in the playoffsl??

O'Shea seems to have succumbed to the Dave Ritchie syndrome- loving his pet players more than the team he is responsible for. Being and ex-player with a starry career, he is a player's coach, which is good and bad. As good as O'Shea has been, Walters has built this team and will likely be in conflict with O'Shea if this persists. We will not know what is going on internally but we have to hope the self-preservation, if nothing else, will motivate O'Shea to do whatis needed and soon.

The Bombers were outcoached. Scott Milanovich is a helluva offensive coordinator. He has really helped Taylor Powell. Tommy Condell had gone stale. With his pedigree, I expect Milanovich will be a HC again in the CFL sooner rather than later.

    So much this.
Been following this team since I was a kid in the 70s. As a kid there were many heartbreaks with teams that had so much potential but came up empty. It might have been easier to take had the potential not been there...but the squandering of potential is always sad.
John Daly comes to mind. So much potential and talent seemingly squandered.
I came into this season filled with that notion of a team with so much potential to right the wrong of last year's GC. The re-signing of important vets...the return of Lawler...the potential of another Wpg born back, etc...
Instead we're getting this schizophrenic team who doesn't seem to know who it is from week to week...world beaters or potential-squanderers?
I can take the down/rebuilding years...it's all part of the game...but watching these guys come out flat, giving up early leads and either having to scrap back to win...or lose...to inferior teams really p*sses me off. Combine that with some of the most incompetent officiating I can remember and I'm a frustrated camper.
I'll be the first to admit I don't have the football acumen that some on here do but I can't help but lay the blame for this frustration at the feet of coaches. Yeah professionals should be able to get themselves fired up/prepared for games but damn it, it's up to coaches to MAKE SURE that's happening.

Once again....we start slow and deep in our zone.....the Cats start at centre field ....Do the coaches not see that our special teams are crap....or is it just not considered a priority.....We are a better club than what showed yesterday...talent wise.....the otherwise is a fail.....IF we don't find a way to put more pressure on the qb. it's going to be a long last part of the season....We're turning uknown qb.s into stars ....the poor play of the secondary except for a couple of guys, has to change....What's the latest word on Ford....we could use a player of his calibre to shake things up.....Zack had a 50/50 game ....looked good on some nice bombs but then regressed into throwing pics......Poor effort let a lesser club walk away with the 2 pts......and I didn't see a Cup winner in Ham. yesterday

I agree with all of this, but I'm not sure Biggie is a problem. He's currently our leading tackler as a MLB should be. I can definately see some changes for next year on our dline (95). And the way I feel this morning we will be incredibly fortunate to get more than 1 playoff game.
    Well-said
