Close, it's more in line with hypothetical situations being equal due to the fact they can not be proven. Unless of course we take whatever it is that you do, that allows you to see these hypothetical situations unfold.
You're hypothetical situation where lucky doesn't play, leaves out the fact that he would have been replaced with another player, game plans would have changed and the offense would have looked different....key word there is different. Not worse, not better. Just different. Your opinion is that it would have been worse (which is why they would have lost) mine was they would have been exponentially better. Neither can be proven, even though yours was based in reality a bit more, it was still a ******* ridiculous thing to say.

Well we need a top 4 D somehow.  Let's say Connor, Laine, and Copp sign for 19 million combined.  Then we've got about 4 million left to sign 3 players to fill out the roster.... you're not finding a top 4 D in free agency with that money.
The only ways we can feasibly free up money is to trade Perreault, Ehlers, Lowry, or Kulikov. I believe Bryan Little has a no-move clause. I don't think there is a market for Kulikov and that leaves another hole in your defence anyways because he can at least play in your top 6 D. So you're trying to move Perreault on a not-great contract or shipping out one of your young homegrown players in Ehlers or Lowry.
Or maybe Logan Stanley can play in the second pairing and solve all our problems, right?

I see a very different picture of Kyrie Wilson. Put it this way, I’ll be surprised if he’s the starter by the end of the season. And I would argue that O’Shea had no intention of giving anyone else the job. He was going to be the starter at WIL barring injury or total catastrophe. That’s how O’Shea operates for better for for worse.

I'm super glad Kenny Walker stuck around, that guy caught everything going his way. Might be a sleeper guy who will shine when he gets his chance.

I’m also fairly unimpressed with Kyrie Wilson. He’s been here three years and in spot action has never stood out. I just don’t see it happening with him, even if it’s pretty clear that he’s going to get the job regardless of performance. I’d really like to see Dale Warren get a legit shot next game.
