Let’s piss and moan about losing AH for a couple of games. Include how wrong he was to get caught. Add, he deserves it, the league is out to get him, or any other opinion that pops up. 
The way to get through this is handled as best it can by Wade Miller. As an organization, move on, nose to the grindstone next two weeks, focus on preparation for the opposition. Get a couple of wins, stay in first, and this gets behind the squad. 

He's right about the refs. not being quick enough with their flags, if they throw them at the first sign of  a scuffle that tends to put a quick end to it and prevents the event from escalating.

Don't you miss the days when Stegall would lead the league in yardage and we would finish every season at 3-15?  Don't you wish we were as good as BC and Toronto with all their 1,000 yard receivers?

You're right... he was dressed provocatively too, did you see the way his helmet was strapped on? Practically begging for a blindside hit from behind.

There is always a project QB on the practice roster by early September.  But that is just to see if they are worth bringing to training camp next year.  That will still happen.  They need to bring a QB with real CFL experience in case they need someone to play this year.  There is no need for that guy to be here before they hit the practice field next week.  That person may already be signed for all we know.

People like to **** on Bishop but 2007 he was looking at 4.6K yards and 35 tds projected.  When he came into the shitshow that was Winnipeg in 2009 I'll agree he didn't play particularly well... but coming in to that offense with no training camp and the team being a complete gongshow... I think he acquitted himself relatively well.

Don't get me wrong - the guy was no hall of famer, but I think he was unfairly maligned as terrible

Ignoring the anthem stuff.. Kaepernick as a player was extremely lazy and it took Harbaugh to get on his ass daily just to get him to study and practice. 
The guy is nothing but trouble.

Then they put in McGuire.  If he goes down then they just run direct snaps to Harris.  If you are putting in your third string QB in a game that the number 1 and 2 went down, then that guy is not bringing you back to win.  The game needs to be run out one way of the other.  NFL teams, such as the Patriots, only dress 2 QB's al the time.  The only reason CFL teams usually dress 3 is because they are exempt from the roster rules.  If it meant they could play another position player, most coaches would only dress 2.  That was the way it was before they changed the rule. 

I would have no problem with bringing in Bridge for a look as a number 3.  The guy has won games in this league and he could pull one out coming off the bench down the stretch.

He doesn’t look hurt at all. Real tough. Matt Nichols is so gifted, horses are hung like Matt Nichols.

The report was older as it was written after his senior year.  I started to get concerned with Streveler during training camp where the other QB's out played him during the pre season games.  He couldn't move the offense or sustain any drives. Then McGuire came in after 2 weeks working with the playbook and he was able to move the ball, looked composed in the pocket and made some good throws.  
Lets hope he can get into the right head space and prove that he deserves consideration as the future #1 QB. 

The report seems to be a couple years old by the way it reads. I agree with a lot of what is in it. The problem is, after two years it seems that a lot of it is still true. He should be improving with the rps he is getting in practice and the reps he got at the beginning of last season but in the limited amount of reps we have seen I don't see anything that has really changed from what the report says. I guess if Matt is out we are going to see quickly if there truly has or has not been any improvements gained. For the sake of all us Bomber fans I sure as hell hope so. 

You mean some of us on this board don't know a stick about game planning a football game or specific player assignments?   You're  cray cray 🤐

couple things, for me.....
1) Not sure BC is a tire fire, despite their record. They've showed some good things, and with Reilly (even on a bum leg) there is ALWAYS a shot and they're always in the game
2) Just win....don't care how they do it, or which phase of the game leads the charge, just win this week. We'll worry about next week when next week rolls around, but for this week....just win, baby.
