I'm going to simply say there's a lot of over-reaction going on but also some very valid and warranted concerns.
I think Montreal, at least defensively, is one of those teams we don't match up well with.  Noel Thorpe has done a pretty damn good job of making our "stars" look very pedestrian.  That said, it didn't help that our starting offense didn't play a single rep in the preseason.  That's on our coaching staff and, to a lesser extent, the players for not advocating for themselves.
The organization has enjoyed so much success the last half decade that complacency may be setting in - I don't see the hunger or urgency any longer.  Montreal on the other hand looks like they want it.  That goes back to last year and their Grey Cup run.
    Three turds for this one:
Zach Collaros - I'm not going to jump on the Zach is cooked bandwagon but last night was a continuation of what we've seen at various points over the last couple of years.  In the game day thread I asked what QB will we see and sadly we got the guy who looks like a deer in headlights. Sergio Castillo - even recognizing that the chipped ball may have played a role in what happened last night, he's paid to do one job and do it well.  I think he would recognize that wasn't his best effort.  Mitchell - another guy I called out in the game day thread and a guy I've never been sold on. He sort of demonstrated why last night but will acknowledge that he's never been asked to return kicks in a game (up here) before last night.  Even with some of the defensive struggles last night (which I think largely stems from guys not playing together a whole lot), they did enough to win the game had the offense showed up.  I didn't think BA looked terrible, he's still a physical presence but he doesn't have the range he used to.  WJ was invisible - still has to be accounted for but was hoping for more last night. The secondary, in general, will play better the more they play together and I sort of figured that chemistry and communication would be an issue early.  Overall though, this side of the ball wasn't the issue.
    Three stars:
Chris Streveler - guy played with more heart and emotion than anyone else on our offense - he's hungry, he still has the dawg in him, he still has a sense of urgency. Devin Adams - for a guy still playing his way into game shape, he was disruptive and made his presence felt. Terrell Bonds - got tested a few times and was solid, really happy with his addition to the backfield.

On the bright side there was a safety off a missed field goal. Gotta say, never seen that before.

Anyone remember being smoked by the Lions here early last year? If we’re still seeing this poop show in July and August then we have a reason to be panicking. The team looked rusty which is not surprising. Also I have a theory about the Als. For whatever reason we always have a difficult time against this team. Must go back to our East Division battles in the mid to late 2000’s. If we crap the bed in the next 3 weeks especially offensively, then it’s a concern. Until then let’s see how we do in Ottawa …

I mean on the replay his hand came down across the face mask so technically correct.... but soft as baby **** none the less. That dirt bag ankle roll was bad though, karma took care of that at least.

Are they though? It was 3-0 bombers when the 2nd string guys started getting subbed out. Riders 2nd and 3rd stringers better than the Bombers 3rd and 4th stringers? Sure.

Its about getting more people in seats to come see the music act, and hoping a percentage of them will enjoy the football and game enough to come back for more.
You complain about the CFL and TSN not doing enough to attract new fans and grow the game.  Here is BC trying something to grow their fan base and bring in people who wouldn't normally come to a football game, but that apparently is also problematic.  🤷

His stance. He went directly into his stance, and was in a 2 point stance that was still too upright in pass pro, and a 4 point stance (some thing tackles virtually never do unless short yardage.) with a 3pt stance on two other run plays.

He was also really on the line at best for moving early going backwards in pass pro.
Stanley is great at hiding his stance till the last minute he has to Commit, and using his leverage to work out of  a lot of 2 point stances, some times a 3 on certain plays. But usually a 2 point stance with hands on legs and uses bend and step to gain the advantage instead of a 3 point.
I went instantly to cjob for pbp gladly missed the whole mess with the rider flunkies.

Sure. There's a good 30-45 minutes a day on the 680 CJOB Sports Show with Christian. Plus training camp hits in sports at 625, 725, 825, 925am and 325, 425 and 525 pm. And we'll have two hours pre-game Monday starting at 1:00pm. We've hit all those topics over the first 10 days.
Since I've got some time sitting in Regina:
    1) We've seen Shayne Gauthier + Kyrie Wilson / Kyrie + Brian Cole as the LB combos post-Bighill. John Petrishen + Tre Thomas has been another duo from the start. Anyone else isn't getting a ton of work.
    2) Liam Dobson at left guard and Eric Lofton at right tackle every day so far. I think Ted Wyman was the first to touch on it on May 12. The only time it wasn't Dobson a LG was the last day because of injuries to Eli and injury/day off for Kolankowski. Dobson shifted to center for that one.
    3) Michael Chris-Ike is slowly getting more action in a FB/TE roll after his late arrival. Gabe Wallace was getting first-team reps with the injuries to Neufeld and Eli. They are by far the closest to making an impact early in the season. Clercius is down around the 3rd group of receivers. Kalra is much closer than Vlahogiannis. And Leroux is 100% going back to school, so apart from 1 day where we talked about him, we'll catch up with him next year. Gassama and Hubert appear far down the pecking order.
    4) 1st team has been Haba and Fox since day 1.
    5) KJ Hill never seemed to get above the third group. And when he got hurt and wasn't going to recover in time, they released him. Had he appeared with the first team like a Ravi Alston, Ontaria Wilson or Myron Mitchell there would have been more talk about Hill.
There were roughly 8 guys vying for return spots. They *might* be down to 4, but there are virtually no returns in camp. Without full-speed contact, they aren't worth much. Pre-season games are where we'll see who's who.

Your kids don't know what they are talking about.  I have the S10+ and have considered going to a newer phone, but it's been so good that I see no reason to change.  My whole family is on iPhones, but I will never have one for myself.

By the strictest definition of a city (population of at least 50,000 people with a density greater than 1,500 per sq. km), according to the 2021 census there is 1 (Brandon).
That being said, we do have pockets of places that have the population density but not the total population:

Population density isn't a pre requisite for being a city in any dictionary definition or civil engineering standard. Density is only used to separate for economic survey data. Federal, and provincial standards are what's applicable.
Manitoba has some really interesting/odd outliers in terms of economic per capita zones, that are perfect examples of why the standard is used but only in statistical evaluation.

Manitoba legislation allows an incorporated urban municipality with a population over 7500 to incorporate as a city if it so chooses.
