If they would that offer to Ladd would be a 3 yr and not a 6 year. Both want long term. Wonder if that 6 x 6 is still on the table for Ladd
I'd work on trading buff now and let Ladd have until January to decide. If no decision by then... trade him and we move on.
I don't think Ladd and Buff are the difference between being a good team or bad team. 5 years with the current core. 1 playoff appearance. Not good enough.

I can't see any way either player would accept a 3 year contract, no contact with buff's agent supposedly, doesn't bode well to resign. Ladd doesn't want a rebuild and wants to win now, that's not going to happen here this year., 

Great game, great day at the stadium. Kudos to all the volunteers who did a wonderful job and made it a seamless entry and exit today. The shuttle drivers who stopped and asked anyone in a jersey if they wanted a ride. All around fantastic experience today. Way to go Winnipeg...you looked great all week.

The league has some serious work to do as tv viewership dropped 15%, and the product did seem watered down this year, didn't help the amount a Qb's that got hurt but the on field product needs to get better across the league

The shine is off Myers and i can see why Buffalo soured on him, his play is soft as a pillow and is make a lot of mental errors.

I'll also add that Wheeler has continued to get better and little too. Ladd isn't a first liner on a great team. We're weak down the left side.

Last nights game shows why you need 3 lines capable of scoring. Our top 2 lines couldn't get it going for whatever reason, be it great goaltending or taking to many perimeter shots or no presense in front of the net. Your not going to get too many goals from the bottom 2 lines as they line up right now.

I believe he would be playing the right side...
 
Stuart is LHD is he not? Pretty sure, Postma would be the RHD on the pair, These lines are based on Ken Wiebes reporting about an hour ago so who knows how accurate they are but... Pretty sure Postma would be the Right Handed D man on his pair with the Left Handed Stuart. 

Plus don't ever question anyone be it media or people that live in TO that all of Canada's loves the Blue Jays and all their professional teams are Canada's team.

Go with an all international defensive back group and play a Canadian at Safety, surely one of Wagonner, Sherman,Jones,Morgan,Whoever the **** else could play safety and we could go with Randle,Rookie,Johnson,Adams. 

Here was a Davis sitting on the bench for a whole season, playing his first game in about three years, who looked like he has the makings of a real QB. He can pass, he can run, and looks to be fairly accurate...and with a bad coordinator...and some players not really in the game.
 
Now explain to me why when Willy got injured, how the QB coach, the offensive coordinator, the scouts, and the head coach, weren't prepared to give him a chance. To me it is simply that they have an inability to recognize talent or the lack of it...eg. Brohm.
 
They wait until the last game of the year which means nothing to give him an audition.
 
I was not in favor of an overhaul until last night, but these guys are likely not going to lead us out of the wilderness.

Don't like him 3 on 3 either if he does resign with us i can see him as a 2nd or 3rd line player in the coming years.

Played the 3rd period with 5 d Buff was killer tonight just did whatever he wanted to do, Hutch had a good game, shootout bad, Toby very steady, Little just no finish tonight, Ehlers tried to bank one off the goaltender from behind the line, need to change up the guys on the shootout except Wheeler.

5/8 points 4 game road trip 2 back to back, folks that's a real good road trip.
