I just bought two tickets for the Grey Cup In Vancouver. Time to move on from the past and prep for the drive for five!

I don't think so. I heard they leave that scent behind so other Rider fans will know they were there. If they were to stop, they would probably need the glands expressed periodically by a licensed vet.

After that game our cat got out and got under the deck, which is about a foot high. She got scared and hid far underneath. I had to army crawl under to get her. In the process I knelt in dogshit. Also tripped and smoked my head on the downspout. 
…It was still the better part of the evening.

The best take on Sellers was the game in Sask. where he literally destroyed the rider D on the way to the end zone......DOMINATING....would be an apt description....Just luv'd the guys determination and talent

We spoke. Him and coach Gaines at Home Depot on Empress. A few minutes about which light bulbs they needed for the Bomber “clubhouse” at the old bawn. I recall thinking, he’s kind of a big bugger. 
RIP Coach. 

I was always Joe Poplawski.  He's still one of my favorite all time Bombers.

I wish some sort of commemorative acknowledgement or event of the James and Ploen passings happens at a Bomber game this season. Guessing plans have begun. 

I'd go for whom I've seen for best Bombers DBs as Hill..BOlden..Brown...Roy Bennet and James Jefferson...bar none..nobody since be even close...I would almost put Bolden first if he had a series of yrs together...dude had no business being up here and we were so lucky to have him a few times 

I’d add blink, he played behind some horrible ols and still put up great numbers. Plus was often our 2nd best wr behind milt. 
 
Bolden was insane. And he made it look soo easy.

The way he played, with that lifestyle earns a completely different level of respect for me than anything else I’ve seen watching pro sports of any kind.

Gerry James was a true super athlete. The media made a big thing about Bo Jackson & Deion Sanders playing MLB & football the same season. Think of pro football then followed by pro hockey with the Leafs in the same season. Perhaps even the same day. I believe I read a story somewhere that the Bombers won the 1961 GC in OT at CNE Stadium in Toronto. That night, James was in a Maple Leafs uniform playing defense at Maple Leaf Gardens. Back when the NHL only had 6 teams. Leafs Coach Punch Imlach liked him so much that he kept a spot open for him. 
I read Gerry James book. In it, he described his dislike for Bud Grant. How he felt he disrespected Canadians on the Bombers by his treatment of them. How Americans made more money than the Canadians & how cheap Grant was. James left the Bombers in a contract dispute & finished his career with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. For decades, the relationship between the Bombers & James was scarred. I think things were better after Wade Miller took over as President & really wanting him back as a Bomber alumni but I don't think things were ever totally repaired.
