Flanders is actually 60, but he looks younger due to clean living, chewing thoroughly, and a daily dose of Vitamin Church.

Apparently they were before as well, but the fit hadn't hit the shan yet. Struthers and Hydro were bubbling beneath the surface while Doer was still there.

So your defensive line was pretty good, and your linebackers were turrible. Seems like the most logical thing to do would be to let the d-line coach go and promote the linebackers coach...

Nicholas Cage wouldn't surprise me... Googles "Nicholas Cage harassment"... Turns out he was arrested for domestic abuse in 2011.
Okay, my real guess is Alton Brown, or maybe Guy Fieri. One of those two.

Dave Vankoughnett's kid was the QB at Dakota this year, and may still be there next year too, so if you want to rub shoulders with the former Bomber, encourage him to go there.
They've also got a defensive lineman who was on the Western Canada under 16 team this summer, and led the WHSFL in forced fumbles and was near the lead in sacks as well. I believe he's only in grade 10, so there will be some talent there for the next couple years.

Regarding two National receivers, could we possibly see one of Coates/Wolitarsky starting, along with Demski? I know he hasn't really earned a big payday, but it would be great to see him here if the money is right.

Speaking of Gray, did anyone notice he made the list of one of the top eight academic student athletes in Canada for 2016/17? 4.43 GPA! He pretty much got all A+s except for the odd A that might have snuck in there. In Engineering no less. Wouldn't surprise me if he's got a grad school acceptance letter sitting on a shelf somewhere as well.

Brew pub would also be on my projects list, and I could probably get both done for $60 mil.

Time to get this thread back on track: after I win the $60 million Lotto Max jackpot tonight, I promise I will do everything in my newfound power to build a water park at the old stadium site. That's right, I'm speaking it into existence on the internet! Gotta name it and claim it! Gonna be #blessed!

It's amazing what people will tolerate from people in their party of choice if they think it will help them defeat their opponents.
As much as you want to believe a person can genuinely change, it's pretty difficult in Wab's case to see past the opportunism that came from going from a mysoginistic and homophobic rapper/radio host, to a 'director' at a university and authoring a feel-good book, to running for office.
I don't think his past should preclude him from future success, but if you want to be in the public spotlight, you'd better be honest about those skeletons in the closet.

Don't seem to recall Murray calling the media dogging Pallister on his time in Costa Rica a witch hunt. They made a way bigger deal out of that than they are with Wab, even though going on vacation pales in comparison to lying about multiple assaults.
