  2. Mike O'Shea said that pound-for-pound Janarion Grant was undoubtedly the toughest player on the squad. Of course no one is irreplaceable. But guaranteed whoever is returning kicks this season will not be in Grant's class. I feel bad for him because the ankle/foot injury that cost him was a really dumb play call - a handoff that had him running a counter up the gut into heavy traffic.
  3. Ford could very well take a starting corner spot. I’d like to see what Jake Kelly could do at FS as well.
  4. *maniacal laugh* enjoy golfing Vegas, now Dallas, eviscerate Colorado
  5. It would be a great situation if we can start Terrell Ford or a Canadian at safety. Actually seems fairly likely.
  6. I think Cole will be an impact player this year. Could steal Wilson’s spot, or (preferably) Kramdi if they can make the ratio work.
  7. I havent had to watch a Tide commercial since about then. I enjoy having adblockers that actually work!

  9. I agree with the takes the DL and LB are the two worrying spots going into 2024. I think we may have some issues early but at the end of the year, we'll be firing on all cylinders and capable of beating everybody.
  10. Yoshi got whupped by speed off the edge like a green hs kid too many times. I love the guy and he can still drop people in the run game but he can’t play T in pass pro or stay healthy. And that’s at best. he’d still make most of the dbs look lost in one in ones. But if any one is coming back let it be bob. Cole legit might steal a spot.
  11. Thanks for spoiling things and revealing who is getting in next year.
  12. Drummond only had 3 - 1000 yard seasons... never lead the league in running only an all star 3 times. First 3 seasons won the Grey cup as a back up in Baltimore/two seasons with Flutie and the Argos. Went to BC and platooned with Millington where he was usually the 2nd choice. Solid B+ level player but never elite. A product of playing on some amazing teams during an era when people were racking up insane yards.
  13. There are tons of HOF picks that ate longevity based. For me Drummond is a HOF guy when you consider some of the other names in there.
  14. or they could go "retro McMahon style" and cover them in 50 years worth of pigeon poop.
  15. Did you think it was still 2006?
  16. Name another fringe player who had 6700 fringe yards rushing & 4000 fringe yards receiving & scored 78 fringe tds? I doubt that you can. The other fringe players must have at least or better than ten thousand all purpose yards & nearly 80 tds during their career, so good luck. As far as championships go, just because Milt never had one, doesn't mean it's meaningless. What about when the debate turns to all time greats at qb, the lack of or the number of Super Bowl or Grey Cup wins is always front & center, if it's not important? After all, (mostly younger) fans say that Brady was better than Montana & is the all time GOAT becausse he won 7 Super Bowls & Montana 4.
  17. Four grey cup victories means nothing to me... Stegall has zero ... it's meaningless. Drummond is a fringe HOFer... for a few seasons he was oustanding... the other seasons he was platooning and not "The Guy". He probably should go in... but only if that year has weak candidates who are also on the fringe.
  18. I did the exact same thing with a leafs fan on a work call right before the playoffs started. Both of us had jerseys on an everything. No one else knew what was going on (the call was with people from Florida and Alabama) Had been avoiding him since the Jets got eliminated but now that the leafs are golfing too I guess I can emerge again.
  19. Looks like they’re painting the walls at PAS. they should just wrap them, but the sideline walls desperately need to be re-painted if nothing else.
  20. Not sure if it's related but... I had issues with my bluebombers app, ticketmaster app, and my google wallet not talking to one another, would just clock and freeze when trying to login or view my tix. Turns out Firefox as a default browser was the culprit. Switched to Chrome as default and it worked fine
  21. I respectfully disagree with you on Drummond. Four Grey Cup victories. The 2000 GC MOP. What jumps out to me are his TD numbers with 78. That means Drummond was on the field all the time. He wasn't a situational player. He was an every down back. There aren't many players in the history of the CFL who scored that many touchdowns. There are more like Pinball, Reed & others but that is a ton of TDs Drummond scored. You may not agree which is fine. You're entitled to your opinion. To me, he is a Hall of Famer.
  22. Offense is going to be fine. We have a lot of talent and depth there. Zero question we will find someone to fill the 3rd American receiver spot. There is enough competition and depth on the o-line that we should be fine there as well. Special teams on paper it looks like we will be much better than last year. Fresh faces bring new energy. Defense is where there is the most uncertainty. We need someone to step up at Corner. Holm and Nichols are locks at half. I think we have a lot of options at safety and one of the corner positions. Finding a top cover guy would go a long way to making that group formidable. D line i see similarly. We have a few guys there but we need someone to step up. Maybe even a couple. Willie does some good things but I hope we run a DI at the end position this year. Linebackers I can't understand why we don't bring in more competition. Are we that confident in Biggie and Wilson?
  23. Good player in his time, part of some great teams, not a HOFer. Just like someone like Ron Williams. Personally I wouldn't have put Kelvin Anderson either but he was very consistent for a long period. Wouldn't put Jermaine Copeland in either and he has a ton of numbers. Just not dominant guys.
