Ride em cowboys! "Neither starter Zach Collaros nor veteran backup Chris Streveler will dress this week, leaving the start to Wilson." There won't be any sense of offensive rhythm, that's for sure. Why does it feel like someone is thumbing their nose somewhere. Well I for one like a good joke. So let's have a sense of humour. GO BLUE! PS: I hope our defence gets enough work…

Bonfire Sports... generally some pretty good insights and analysis.

"Which is why I gave up on the Coach's Show on CJOB and don't bother to listen to it. I admit that I got spoiled in the Kelly year but even Lapo gave some sort of effort at more than one or two word answers to questions. Not worth listening to 45 minutes of commercials to hear zero insight on anything." Doesn't Bauming have a podcast?

They said they took inspiration for colours from the province so I assume the black represents the pit of despair that is Saskatchewan. -

Did they take any pictures where you can actually see the uniform? -
I think Bighill will be really easy to move on from and honestly will probably be a matter of the defensive coaches being less comfortable using him. Like last season it was pretty clear he was 4 yards away from the guy he needed to be 2 yards away from on pass plays and he was always tipping his blitzes because he couldn't get to the gap fast enough off the ball. When that gets even a slight bit worse he will be unplayable. The guys on the line are a little tougher. Like Hardrick last season. You could still see the little spark on runs but his pass pro was awful...but the spark was there and he'd truck guys if he moved his feet. I worry a lot about Jefferson without Jeffcoat....and our overall pass rush. To me Jefferson has basically lost all burst off the line the past couple years. He wants to stand up, look around and decide if he can chase someone. He's long so he can be disruptive in that way but if I'm an OT he's a pretty easy night these days. Not sure he'll be too active if the guy on the other side isn't in the backfield all night.

Do they have any pics without a green lighting shining on it? It looks like just plain black uniforms with a small amount of green trim? -

Nah Thomas is just your standard vet, bighill and oshea have this weird thing and have for a long while.
-
Thomas too...
-
I could Alexander being transitioned out, but I really believe bighill is a guy mos will need to be dragged kicking and screaming away from.
-
If that's what you want to call it
-
so the reality is its all MOs? is he a bully authorian?
-
Yup...agreed...time for him to transition like Miller...and if we need him in a pinch the last quarter of the season I sure we could milk 4 games outta him and playoffs with fresh legs...where he could make an impact playing balls out I think petrishen rotating with Wilson and Moses in middle..along side the human missile Cole in varying schemes and formations would be a killer collection...especially with a really active import DT and 2 athletic ends beside WJ rotating in...a second import DT spelled off by a Canadian not named Thomas would give us an elite front 7...and very tough to handle
-
Probably right with that. Wilson would be sick with Moses and petrishen.
-
Part of me does genuinely believe Bighill may be finished as a player. Nice little chunk of change to use towards the 2025 cap if he happens to not suit up this year.
-
Well history shows Osh will still dress his vets injury or no injury...slowed down play...ineffective over a full game...and basically said as much in recent presser...he will take the vet over pretty much any new or newer guy unless they really stand out with physical attributes..etc...so safe to say we are handcuffed with old in the tooth declining guys until they are literally unable to walk..unless Walter's takes it out of his hands and doesn't resign them And we know that won't happen as again...history has shown he won't take advantage of that to benefit his roster. Tho this yr he likely will to save an old favorite instead of using it on a usefully guy like Jefferson...Nichols...Wilson and then roster an additional new young hungry stud...
-
what do you think the decision making process is like in Bomberville in the next few days? Will it be the position coaches and/or the coordinators who are really steering the ship? Maybe it's MOS? What it all comes down to is Kyle Walters? Of course they collaborate and cooperate. But who was really running the show? That's what I want to know when it comes to personnel.
