We have a ton...or can have a ton of roster flexibility of we actually choose to do so...hopefully some slaps upside the head occurred post 2025 season ending and a light was smacked on yup like i said above....we have the opportunity to have crazy good roster flex....and when you have guys like MCI and Clercius...and now Daniels who have ability to actually do some real nice things offensively other than just glorified blocking...you gotta use them I thinking Condell may just see what kind of benefits MCI can have and may just actually utilize him

I think we're really built to use 4 American OL if that's the best option....and a "backup" American at receiver that can be out there most of the game if we want based on using the roster rules. Also ALL our OL depth is American. Like if Neufeld or Eli say "sorry I'm done" tomorrow or someone tears their bicep, all we have to go with are Americans. Ultimately not going to matter how many American receivers out there if the interior OL is getting driven back and not letting QB eyes get downfield. Not that it isn't always but I think the lesson learned the last couple years is the offense relies on controlling the line of scrimmage. We saw that slide a little bit and really struggled to find any consistency pass or run.

Sorry, I’ll post more. I can’t see us bringing SO many receivers to camp if we didn’t have an open American receiver spot but I guess it’s very possible we don’t actually run a lot of 5WR sets. Even for the sake of flexibility though, we should be running Bryant out as our 8th Canadian. Neuf, Wallace or Eli, Demski, Nield or Clercius, Brady and then two defenders between Lawson, Kramdi, Shay and Nuer.

100 percent. Nichols saved Walters and O’sheas jobs, and without him we don’t build a team and culture good enough to win a grey cup. No way we land guys like Jefferson or Bighill without Nichols. Just to reminder people how dyer it was. We were 1-4, not a single winning season since 2011, only one winning season since 2007.. we win 10 straight games, and really the rest is history.

Yeah I can’t see us going 7ol, mci, peterson, clercius and daniels. Just too many big blocking bodies. Plus Schmekel. Those other guys bring contribution to other areas, a 7th ol is just too much roster waste. If we start vanterpool or randolph at guard, and have wallace as the 6th, we have guys who can slide in at C or bump over to T and cover all spots in case of injury.

I'm all for starting 3 imports if that gives us our best lineup and then if Wallace becomes the 6th man even better as depth...but not at the expense of a import receiver when we dont have to. Starting an extra an unneeded Canadian just because is pointless and doesnt give us our best lineup. And sadly with Osh we know thats a distinct possibility. Same with I hope we dont waste a roster spot on a 7th oline guy as well with Daniels now here and other big bodies in MCI and Clercius...again that would be a wasted spot on a guy to not be used unless 2 olineman go down..and for most part teams deal with that with a convert off of defence. If Scmeckle is actually ready for season and we choose to dress an extra canadian dt...well there's his role...backup DT..emergency oline guy and interior knife on short yardage...

As others have said, there has to be a reason the club has so many American Olinemen in camp. We don't seem to have the depth to go three Canadians there. Yes, you could start Neufeld/Eli/Wallace but your depth is what Vibert? Seems a little shaky. Starting Demski+Nield with Clercius and Daniels rotating in a spot, with Cobb as a back up makes sense to me.

Not that i’ve seen. I could see us starting 2 and having clercius/daniels rotate as package guys. Whites played 5 years in the league and could be used rostered as the naturalized player. So we use that and have half his snaps counted as a canadian with two other americans, then have clercius/daniels play snaps to keep the ratio.

I think the problem is that our Canadian depth at OL is not great. I don't even know what our PR will look like in that regard. Very likely we sign a cut from another team after TC. So while we potentially could start 3 Canadians, we are likely going to be relying on our Americans this year.

Even with starting 3 imports on the Oline if we choose....with the 2 other lineman...BO...Demski and Neild we don't need to do that when we can conceivable have 2 of any combo of Kramdi..Lawson...Shay...Smith...Gatkouth...Bailey...on the filed at any given time...Or actually utilize the Nationalized American. Having a 3rd National who in all honesty wont really have much an impact, or take much attention from the defense does nothing for ZC and until he show's he's not overdone toast, he needs weapons...not bodies. We gonna have Canadians on the field anyway on defence and most likely with most snaps 2 or more the way we rotate guys constantly....so why handcuff the offence needlessly? With Clercius here...MCI...Peterson...and now Daniels thats more than enough National depth on offence and maybe the new kid we drafted shows up well and steals a backend spot...Plus we still also have Cobb....meaning there is no reason we even need to have Corcorran around....Unless he comes into camp and all of sudden looks like the second coming of Ben Cahoon...of he makes it on roster cause "he works hard"...he "has a good attitude"....thats pretty weak sauce cause everyone here should have both those attributes...to actually go with actual professional talent
