  2. If you are going to the game from your hotel and want to save a few bucks you can take rapid transit instead of an uber/taxi. There is a bus stop across the street at the arena and the stadium bus comes by every 20 minutes on Saturday. Just make sure to take the Blue line to the UofM and not St Nobert. It's just over 30 minutes and 3.35 per person. Edit: this bus uses a rapid transit corridor for a good portion of the trip so it avoids most of the construction that Booch refers to.
  3. so a BB loss for say...dumb decisions...poor prep...inadequate coaching leading up to game...and in game adjustments...questionable roster moves and playing a player or 2 thats clearly not healthy.....assume it's all good due to the "Yeah but's" and "not all just on the Coach(s)" ....again......so don't get alarmed or crotchety?? Asking for a friend(s)
  4. being forced....and having the foresight and planning to do so, and actually see your weaknesses before they kill you.......2 different things
  5. getting early to experience the tailgating and the area around the stadium where there are things going on is always a good start....coming from off portage you will have a decent trek to the stadium so make sure to give yourself adequate time as there is construction everywhere
  6. Tracker disagrees, everyone
  7. Greetings all, the LDC was another epic event and we had an incredible time with many Bombers fans here in Regina. It was such a great time that my gal and I have decided to get tickets to the Banjo Bowl (first timers) and are very excited about attending this event with the other best fanbase in the CFL. We have tickets in Section 143 and we are staying at the Alt Hotel downtown. Any suggestions or recommendations would be very much appreciated of good places to party or visit. We are arriving late Friday afternoon and staying until Sunday. Thanks in advance for all your suggestions and responses, we can't wait.
  8. going back to Mills from Calgary. He was one inch away yesterday.
  9. Literally the most self unaware person ever lol
  10. Stamps management was willing to make major changes where ours has been reluctant to do that. Yeah we made (or were forced to make) a couple moves but there definitely could/should have been more.
  11. Unless ofcourse youre in a most STD's or smallest wiener competition. In those cases losing would be preferable.
  12. Yep, I've tailgated in at least 8 different lots around the stadium (9 if you include the official tailgate area) and I'm sure there's more that I haven't yet. I hope somebody posts video from a Banjo Bowl tailgate for this guy so he can see what it's supposed to look like.
  13. Ah mean, the Labour Day loss is really gonna rattle some cages...😁
  14. Today
  15. Wins are definitely superior to losses.
  16. Sports attract hard-headed people; how else would sports or teams survive dark eras like the Reinbold, Kelly, etc? That said, a higher standard of conduct is to be expected from a professional in any field. Especially in a customer-facing entertainment field. And I don't think that is some crazy, unfair expectation. HCs don't need to be amiable; plenty of the most successful coaches have been grumpy at the best of times. But any HC in any pro sport needs to be able to grow and change with time in order to survive.

  18. Is this site real cuz I’m a bit mind blown reading some of this stuff from a few of you. I mean the posters who refuse to accept criticism or refuse to actually acknowledge they could be wrong In their opinions don’t like O’Shea cuz he’s smug arrogant and I quote “O'Shea has repeatedly demonstrated that he is rigid in his thinking and thus resistant to change or criticism. His personality is such that, if pressured, he will double down.” He’s just like you guys who complain the most about him.
  19. Ok, then I clicked the wrong button, my apologies
  20. Well coukdnt post...so hence...banned from posting....no further comment
  21. @Booch a warning is not a ban. No further comment
  22. I’ll get results up tomorrow but can start putting this weeks picks below.
  23. There's a Schoen interview in the Sun today which would be a little strange if he is injured again. Usually injured guys don't talk to the media. Obviously he isn't 100%, we all saw him pull up at the end of the game, but seems like he is "ok" to me. https://winnipegsun.com/sports/football/cfl/winnipeg-bluebombers/blue-bombers-dalton-schoen-thrown-right-back-into-labour-day-fire?itm_source=index
