  1. Past hour
  2. Working off the 65k bonus perhaps??...lol....what a waste of money if we feel we cant use him....pretty sure he'd offer something on the field.
  3. Wrong Decision by the CFL. https://www.cfl.ca/2025/07/16/shawn-lemon-reinstated-with-conditions/
  4. I saw that and thought it was a bit odd they would make him the face of it. Just makes the situation even weirder imo lol.
  5. Again....this is YOUR narrative. Since that announcement has come out, the CFLPA has stated that it's not sure where that money will be allocated. Or even if it's going to materialize. https://3downnation.com/2025/03/27/cfl-salary-cap-increase-not-set-in-stone-cflpa-still-working-through-revenue-share-allocation/#:~:text=“There's never going to be,available%2C please check again soon. Yes, you made up that there is a morale issue in the locker room. There hasn't been any reports of that or even rumours. It's something you've decided might be a thing, based on nothing other than players who left for unknown (as in, we don't know if the club tried to keep them or not) reasons. You're making things up.
  6. Today
  7. That’s a heck of an analysis. Sure they let him walk to save money on cap…. That’s one way to put it. The guy is way over paid. Overplayed by a country mile. I’m not a fan of Jake Thomas at this point but linking the two together lacks logic. Ford is getting paid way way more than Thomas. The two negotiations aren’t linked in any way. It’s your view that Winnipeg is 400k under the cap? I’d love to see your source on that.
  8. I haven't got the access to contractual terms for any player & you know it as you couldn't even answer your own question. So, what you ask makes no sense. I just know that we have more younger players leaving now after their first contract is up with us than we did a few years ago. I think it's absolutely legit to ask why this is happening without you getting all frazzled & freaked out. Players like Garbutt, Fox, O'Leary-Orange, Dobson & Ford all left when their contracts were up. Kenny Lawler, the best frigging receiver in the CFL walked as we didn't want to pay. We decided instead to keep an injury prone Dalton Schoen who may never again rise to the level that he was two years ago due to his severe knee injury. Michael Couture never came back from his NFL tryout 2 years ago. We either didn't try or couldn't attract one prized impactful CFL free agent here this past off season & we're hosting a Grey Cup. You'd think free agent players from other teams would want to be here because of the reputation Osh has, wouldn't you? We deliberately left $400,000 on the table in salary for players while Walters blamed the CFLPA saying the cap may be rolled back by the Players Association & put into pensions which never happened. And it never was going to happen after the league & CFLPA announced the cap increase.
  9. Making things up? Did you read what Tyrell Ford said? Most poster don't lie & make things up here. Let's hope we beat Calgary or heads gonna explode.
  10. No, I figured it out, young feller.
  11. Walters let Tyrell Ford walk looking to save money on the cap & then turns around & waste money signing an over the hill Jake Thomas. This off season was one of the worst we ever had.
  12. Gotta' go with Lawler.
  13. If you look into it, Mitchell had a sketchy history before he arrived in Edmonton, one of these players that matures quickly and dominates high school football with advanced physical skills, quite common in hockey too. Probably learned to get open without paying much attention to a playbook, he should have been Tre Ford's favourite receiver. "In his senior season, he was named Tennessee's Gatorade football player of the year after he caught 81 passes for 1,484 yards and 22 touchdowns, leading the Spartans to a 9–4 record and the Class 6A quarterfinals.[1] He also rushed for 951 yards and 20 more touchdowns on 64 carries."
  14. Gotta recognize greatness bro. Without Peters on the field, they give up at least 173.
  15. RB James Butler
  16. Thanks! Yes we need more Bombers content for sure.
  17. Pimpleton also cost Ottawa the game with a muffed punt.
  18. Sure played a hell of a game between the 30s. Yes sir, a good game between the 30s.
  19. Argos OL Ryan Hunter was riding a scooter on the first day back after bye week and was hit by a car. Out at least 6-8 weeks... What in the actual ****?
  20. Yeah, and a linebacker whose defence was on the field for 43 minutes and gave up over 170 yards to Butler as a performer of the week.
  21. Yesterday
  22. If they do put another Olive Garden here guess where they're going to put it https://www.insauga.com/popular-family-restaurant-chain-plans-to-expand-in-canada/
  23. But if they ain’t competing for the same spot then it’s all irrelevant. Apparently Mitchell would take Wheatfalls spot. He’s not taking Schoen spot tho. That’s on the coaching. Or mitchell just isn’t as good as people think he is. That is a real possibility also.
  24. The biggest issue with Ford is he can’t throw the ball fast enough to be accurate at this level. But you can give him a lot more room to work with by running a committed RPO scheme. Then it’s a matter of if he can take the punishment of running more/always being the decoy.
  25. Its not like anybody did better....oh wait. Ok, its not like there was a better QB performance in the same game....Um...PFF requests a do over.
  26. Talk is cheap. If he cannot beat out Kody Chase, that has to be a sad commentary.
  27. Trevor Harris is the player of the week - a QB who generated 10 points? Allllllrighty then.
  28. It’s possible the elks were so much of a dumpster fire that it rubbed off on their players. Mitchell was an elk his entire career. Few days ago I mentioned maybe removing the elks stink is taking some time. Appears it is.
