  1. Past hour
  2. I was going to make a joke earlier today about Cooley being added onto roster instead of Mitchell but I had figured having a guy who barely caught a ball in College added to the roster as a receiver instead of a dude you signed to be a receiver to a fair amount of fanfare was TOO ridiculous
  3. My guess is that anyone coming off the practice roster to play would have been shown on the transactions list today so that probably rules out Vibert. Any guys coming off the 1 game or 6 game lists will be communicated tomorrow.
  4. Wonder if peterson and Korn off means Vibert and maybe Kelly or Makonzo seeing as bridges off now Cooley is interesting tho...and why? Unless we are planning a run heavy offence...so him for Case?? But really that's again questionable...we need a reciever who can make a difference possibly...not a RB who prob won't see much use...unless it's him and Mitchell...tho id rather see Jones get on so that he shows he should never have been excluded in first place
  5. Ok. That makes sense. It was worse yesterday. My wife passed on her regular Tuesday morning golf. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
  6. Yesterday's practice was cancelled, today's was closed to the media and public.
  7. Along with Kornelson and Peterson. Cooley to active roster. Did they cancel today too or just yesterday? Injury report looked like they practiced today. Smoke inhalation and air quality isn’t just an in the moment thing. The particles in the air build up in your lungs.

  9. Bridges moved to the practice roster.
  10. Disappointed that practice was canceled today. Understand that there's smoke in the air but my wife and I did 18 at Larters today and she's got Sjogren's Syndrome (Google it.) and she had no problems handling the air quality. These pros gave to suck it up...pardon the bad pun.
  11. Seems like a perfect chance to get Mitchell in with Case out, but it's Mike O'Shea so I fully expect the only changes to be Case + Ball off and Cobb + J.Jones on so we can start an extra Canadian and also roster a 12th LB.
  12. So Collaros is ruled out for Friday...Non commital on who starting tho?....
  13. Don't give me false hope
  14. It can't be as clear cut as this either. Man, this is a very cynical take.
  15. Today
  16. Mitchell and Jones were ruled out at this time last week but not this time around. That gives me hope but we are still for sure dressing Cobb instead
  17. Those are two opposite ideas, you don’t have a lot of control if you have to toe the line. @JuranBoldenRules spelled it out pretty well in a post in some other thread. We went from four (and sometimes five) man lines with heavy rotation under Hall to three man fronts with little rotation under Younger. Pretty clear Osh let each of them run the D as they saw fit. It also seems clear that after two poor showings against the Stamps some changes were made. No idea if it was forced or Younger’s idea, but it’s a good sign it happened.
  18. I don’t think it’s as clear cut as that. Partly because we have created a strong echo chamber with forced indoctrination. Fit in or **** off, any one who doesn’t fit doesn’t get any job here or doesn’t stay. Wether some one like Jy thinks Jake gives us a better chance to win or not, I don’t think any one would go against the grain and say other wise. Also, Jy is both great and not great. Hes a young dc still. He’s a coverage/secondary specialist. He’s still learning and developing his approach to fronts. I think Jy/hogan have a lot of control on their rosters, as long as they toe the line. For Jy, I’d certainly be willing to take the lumps and let him develop. He adjusted mid season last year really well. He’s starting to show the same this year. Hogan, my hope for is slipping.
  19. Looks like he got that ball rolling last week. The dl usage changed fairly significantly after two bad performances.
  20. Walters impressed me as being intelligent and made the transition from coordinator to GM seamlessly and well, so he is not blind or stupid. He must have had a heart-to-heart with O'Shea prior to the start of the season and laid out clear expectations about should and should not happen again. Thus, O'Shea has to know that the same old, same old would not be good enough. Sooooo....if O'Shea either has tacit or overt blessing for business as usual, OR this is a middle-finger salute to Walters.
  21. Why not move Wheatfall inside for a game and give Mitchell his shot. Wheatfall has done nothing in the 3 losses anyways. If it dont work then cur our losses and next man up. You cant just keep hanging on to a high profile signing, got to be able to admit when you are wrong .
  22. and Corcoran isn't gonna be the guy to be a reason you win a game...or give any wow factor in doing it....not a difference maker...and really I bet Cobb would give as much or more....plus he can return if need be....Corcoran has done alright for what's been asked of him....but if he is the best guy to be one your starting 5...boy we in a world of dogshit
  23. how bout "hey mike u lost 3 straight cups in preventable fashion...have had 2 yrs in pretty obvious decline, and no real answer let alone urgency, and the same stuff continues on this yr.....and you seem to more than not have team unprepared and uninspired, and almost seems like the player's YOU have chosen, are either not responding to you any more....or just not good enough....so we letting ya go"... There's a scenario too...and not something that's out in outter space.....it's whats happened/happening I never agree on a mid season firing unless it's something so pathetic you have to, and then it's just interim and usually not a fix....after yr is up tho....he should have zero rope or good will from management left....he's used it up....especially if he goes on record again with his b.s nonsense he wouldnt change anything like last yr...and believed he did all the right things
  24. Changing players will happen before changing coaches. I don’t understand why that’s a difficult concept to some of you.
