As much as I should be happy for Buck getting a head coaching gig in BC, I just can't pull for him. I'm more thank God he's gone than he deserved the job & sad to see him go.

I think that biggest issue for debate is not whether he was hurt or not, but what does it take for MOS to pull a starter whom he has great respect and admiration for if things are working well for that athlete on the field over a extended period of time?

And for arguments sake even if everyone on staff agreed they had a capable QB2 to come in ready to go it really felt that the only way MOS would bring in another QB would be that Zach 100% physically couldn't go, i.e., I'm sticking with Zach no matter what unless he gets carted off. Dedication to the athlete versus other viable options. Tricky balancing act.

Scott Flagel??? Was good but does not stand out in my mind as one of the all time greats, is he even in the Bomber HOF?

Buck has said Collaros told him he was good to, and he didn't have a reason to not believe him.

Given our overall roster, I'd rather see them not use a DI on a linebacker and/or not two on DBs.

Thing is, we are silly over run at lber and db even compared to normal. We could have teams help in other guys like bailey too. Its just an odd depth chart.

225 to 230 range isn’t impossible to play edge at. If you’re quick and have good hands you could have a hay day with slow tackles. He’s got the tenacity and intangibles but man I’d rather see him polished in camp and pre season then eased in if that’s the goal. If any thing I’d probably toss tony jones to edge in a bind.

And considering Persons has played OLB as well as DE in school...is faster than anyone on our defence other than a few dbs...also faster than pretty much all our receiver's...I'm sure he'd be useful on ST's and as an actual dlineman.

Giving him 3 recievers who couldn't run in 23' didnt help him either...who made that brain wave decision...oh yeah...osh

We've had 2 weeks to prepare for them..seen their base scheme and ideology...we are relatively healthy for most part..at home....nobody has seen our actual offensive identity....no reason we should be unprepared...come out flat...or lose...if we do...I guess its the players fault eh? Exactly that...take his game away and he disappears cause he has nothing else And then he pouts and further erodes his game away
