Bad game for the Lions, but great for CFL fans and the TiCats. -

You don't get better by curing half the problems. Bridges, Kolankowski, Thomas, Tony Jones and probably Kramdi (who has some market value) all need to be moved out STAT.

I used to think the Collaros extension was for him to groom the next Bomber QB. But it's clear as long as MOS is in charge, we'll continue to trot him out there hoping he can regain his 2019 form. After all you can't be great if you don't play (Circa 2023 Bighill and Schoen)! Anyways this team is a dumpster fire right now. I really hope that someone has the balls to remove Jake Thomas and Bridges. And for the love of God, put Dillon Mitchell in.
-
Seems to me that no matter what, the Bombers are scrooged for this season. The main focus is likely to be minimizing the damage to the team and the confidence of the fans. I may well be wrong, but the only way for Walters to avoid the guillotine is for the team to walk on water after O'Shea is canned and/or have a helluva game plan for next season. Either scenario seems a long shot at best. I cannot see Collaros in the Bombers' future and Streveler is iffy.

Probably next season or later on this upcoming one but my guess is next season. 2026 2027. First 2.0 guy to go in and honestly would be fitting. Dude did and still does lots in the community and gave his all every night here for real. Still provides scholarships at my daughter’s dance. And still shows up with his wife and daughter and son at times. Have seen him the last 3 June recitals now eventho doesn’t live here but does still own a home here. Spoke with him once. Really nice guy. Wife very friendly. Sam. Very friendly. Always so nice and smiley. Saw her more than Blake but yeah. Both tremendously good people.

I don’t mean to derail this thread but is anyone else seeing on the Bomber main page, a bunch of threads for support phone #s for several different organizations. Oh, and the Bombers sucked Saturday. Streveler improved but still not good enough.
-
yeah definately should have had a couple 6 game stints before we rostered him...was pretty obvious...we really pooched that situation....right from the get go...should have signed him knowing we likely could avoid half his salary....give any bonus deferred to lid point of yr at earliest....and signed Lawler.....go big in grey cup yr....or go home

@DTonOB Can you please share the snaps for the last game at DL, and shay/smith to date on D, please? Looked to me like our best use of rotation on the DL in a long time. -
I am concerned of that too. Though his football IQ is enough that he can succeed on significnatly less athletic explosive ability than he had, if he can get to a new 100% and change his game. I don't think he was actually healthy enough to be playing at all this year.

A Lapo feast for sure. -
We can't play Streveler if Zach is making nearly $600,000 a year & Streveler $180,000. Bonus for us (ho boy!) is next year Zach has guaranted money- 50%, so $250-$300,000. No team will pick up his contract for that. Lots of strange decisions were made by Walters this past off season but this is a crippler financially.
