  10. I think it depends on how our de situation plays out and who..what we roster...as from what I saw yesterday they are again using him a lot off the edge i some defensive fronts. So hard to say how they decide the DI situation For sure we have Castillo as one...and likely a DB/lb hybrid guy. Now do we use a spot on a versatile end to compliment WJ...if we feel Bailey and the draft pick are sufficient..Ceresnas ability to go off edge..and also Woodby was successful there we may use it on another DT...or able to keep all the import backers rostered..and the way JY likes multi purpose guys I can see that. I'm worri2d about reciever cause after our top 4 guys...we have not much else really.. and if we choose to go 3 Canadian like Tait seems to think even worse..as none of rhe imports really jump out yet...they are more useful than Corcoran and Dersosier. Cobb would be decent as he gives returner depth and I think if used right..and Condell being here he prob will use him right..so there some upside there with him as reciever 5..and can run jet...the 2 others tho...Norway u wantbthem running that
  11. Who doesn't remember that epic Suitor interview of Keith Urban?
  12. Is that enough to use a DI spot on?
  13. In Condell's system it's tough to label receivers as 1,2,3 etc. You have to be able to run every route and each receiver will get a variety of opportunities because there is a lot of variations on the route trees based off the defensive call. I mean every OC does that to some extent but Condell is very good at it. He's good at getting mismatches and getting his receivers isolated in space. Watch White the past few years as an example.
  14. The problem is that Ayers is a beast on teams. Gonna be lots of tough decisions for the coaches.
  15. It was like the beginning of the damn Wizard of Oz around here on Thursday
  16. "Are you kidding me????" "What is happening???"
  17. the weather this year is insane, and it’s probably going to be weird all year.
  18. It's surprisingly professional and functional, for the CFL. I like it. Nothing fancy and gives you everything their website does but organized much better. I'd like to see them implement a system similar to the Jets "Pucks" system where you can complete tasks to gain "Pucks" then spend them on contest entries or small merch items. It gives you a reason to check in on the app more frequently, adds a little interactivity.
  19. As I sit here in Calgary, watching the snow fall... I wonder if moving the season forward is the right decision.
  20. Thoughts? Sorry if this is in another thread. Couldn’t see it anywhere.
  21. The fact that none of us had the foresight (or confidence in the Bombers) to take the Monday off will forever bother me...
  22. Yeah believe me I had regrets picking the start date...
  23. He’s still in Winnipeg. I think he still coaches the Selects football program.
  24. One of the many special things about 2019 was it was the last game called by Cuthbert. The big games don’t have the same feel since he left.
  25. I was physically incapable of working for at least a week after that win...kudos to you for starting a new job.
  26. As I said, poor Man's Dom Wooganowski...
  27. Yesterday
  28. I am paying a lot more attention to this camp because of the lack of Jets playoff hockey and a perhaps misguided hope that this year will be better than last season with a new attitude and a new O coordinator, and a new center...and a massive upgraded Jake on our DL...anyway...getting very excited for this season. LFG!!
  29. We'll have to wait and see how they use him but his career up to this point would suggest he'll be the #4 receiver on this team and likely relied on as a possession guy who can get you that first down or touchdown when you need it.... type of guy who will have 3 catches for 45 yards at the end of the game but they'll all be for first downs.
  30. I see Warren Burrell is wearing #22. There was a (very good) DB - Don Burrell - who also wore #22 for Winnipeg 1981-83 or so.
  31. Is Darryl Hackney still looking like a Dlineman?
