Strange eh? Chris seemed a little banged up which could be it, but mos also seemed to turn on Strev in the post. Be wild if we see Wilson start. Don’t see any thing good out of not committing to strevy but we will see. That’s what we did last year. Zach couldn’t play but stayed on the ar to be on the side line in dress. Hate that move but we probably do the same again. Peterson to the pr is odd. Guys done every thing you can ask. If I’m a few teams around the league I’d try to claim him. He’s legit. I like Cooley, but we are struggling to get enough touches for Brady and not showing the ability to use the weapons we have. idk. We aren’t flipping bridges for a Canadian. Maybe we start Trey and have him kr to clear up a spot. But I don’t feel like this increases Mitchell’s chance to play. I hope it does, that’d be great. One thing’s for sure, this ar is going to be interesting to see. It’s gonna be a far cry from the last couple of no change rosters. Throw in Cobb too lol

Really isn’t an un common happening in sport, or in business. Especially when you have success. maintaining an open minded room that does a good job of incorporating out side views is extremely hard. You have to seek out smart people who are extremely different than you and accept their process. We don’t do that. We find pieces that match what we already have. When is the last time an outside person was hired and given a position above scout/position coach? Long long time. Our coaching and front office approach is the same as our free agency approach. We prioritize our end bench guys over established league guys or blue chip rookies. So we get the same thing from coaching staffs and management that we get from our players. More of the same. that’s why our offence does mainly the same things through 3 different ocs. Why our D is basically the same through 2, our teams through 2, and why each group has the same failings through soo many different people.

It’s counterproductive, and it creates a cyclical problem. Hall was using a lot of 30 front in the late 19 run actually. He used it differently though. Frequently putting 3 guys out who can pass rush instead of a traditional nose and 4is doing 3t stuff. We have not used any where near as much 30 this year as we did after the start last year. We stopped the heavy rotation when stove left, before Jy took over. Front wise, we’ve flipped between the same stuff from 19 to current multiple times. The 5 man stuff with a hands up rusher moving around went from biggie to jones. The rotation came back last game. The big thing that hasn’t come back, is cheetah front 40 where we put out 4 guys who can pass rush. But we haven’t had 4 guys who can pass rush in a long time.

Maybe Mitchell, Vaval, and Cooley share the return duties. As long as no linebackers were impacted by the moves. 🤣

Bridges didn’t impress in the time he had last year either. Bombers cut more promising talent than him both years. For a team that’s unearthed or recognized what they had or could get like Dee Alford, Mike Jones, Winston Rose, D.Nichols, Marcus Sayles etc… they also gave some real duds way too much rope… see Roc Carmicheal and Bridges…. I mean Tyquan Glass didn’t last as long as Bridges and did about the same.

Just ridiculous that Bridges got 6 games before being yanked. Everyone saw that being a bad move in preseason.

Yup, this is the type of thing we've been waiting for. Not performing to an acceptable level? Have a seat over on the bench. Even if the end result doesn't change, it at least shows they are actively trying to get better rather than repeat the same thing over and over.

I would expect/hope that for the Canadian spots...id say maybe Bailey for one but if not off PR yet likely not. Was wondering same with possibly Bailey...not sure if you have to have them off PR by certain time Dressing ZC with no plan to use him is dumb if he hurt..Christ slap him on 6 game...can always pull him off and maybe we can get by 6 weeks and save some coinage

So Chase Artopoeus wasn't moved from the practice roster to be the 3rd QB. Does that still happen tomorrow or do they just list Zach as the 3rd QB?

Changing players sooner would have avoided some of these results. That's all we're saying. Look I know osh ain't getting fired this year, but we can talk about blame here all we want.

U would think...but we also have seen out to lunch additions too Cooley would make some.sense if used for more than 5 snaps...Jones could be used on defense...and teams...and for a Lotta reps...guess we shall soon see

Cooley takes Bridges' American spot so I don't think J Jones will be rostered. Mitchell is a guarantee to be rostered at this point though.
