  4. We've had plenty of MB's play for the team during MOS era. Part of the problem was that MB amateur football didn't really have the programs other provinces did to help develop that young talent. We do now. In the next decade there will be more and more MB's playing pro football.

  7. I'd say we think quality over quantity...Looking at the photo of these two guys I say we we have that going for us...Can't remember 2 home grown star players from Edm or Cal, being on the same Cup winner......ever
  8. Only if they don’t test Nichushkin for the coca.
  9. This team will lose in 5 to the Avs. Probably in a sweep.
  10. Why? Colorado struggles against us. Jets if they make it would be on a huge roll. Only draft picks helping anytime soon are the top 3 in this years draft and we ain’t picking top 3. This team is not that bad. Helle and 1 line can carry them. 12 and 4 is pretty tough tho and that’s what ppl say they need to get in.
  11. We'll get blown out, c'mon. And instead of getting a decent draft pick who might help us right awy, we'll pick a kid (probably an American) who we might see by 2030.

  13. I dunno. Most teams who get hot or go on a run to end the season seem to do well in playoffs.

  15. It seems everyone from Ontario, BC Quebec & Saskatchewan all want to play at home. Maybe we don't see that as much with Manitobans because the provincial population is 1.4 million. We kinda have that here in Alberta. Everyone south or Red Deer want to play for the Stamps. North of Red Deer it's Edmonton. But we have 5 million people here so there are more players to draw from.
  16. Is he that much of one? Idk. I don't think you actually know till the guy comes back. Very strong community guy.
  17. Playing better but still too much reliance on the top line. Those guys would burn out in the play offs
  18. Blow up the outside world. Shoot wrong thread.
  19. You tell him to tell the other teams he only would play for the bombers or nfl. Wink wink nudge nudge.
  20. They are gonna get in and take out Colorado rd 1 in an upset. They are pretty hot right now. One of the best records since the break. If they get in, could be trouble for Colorado for sure.
  21. I'm keeping Manu. If we really covet Vaccaro that much AND he is not in the NFL, then we find a different way to make it happen. Stud NAT OL are becoming a rare commodity and I wouldn't trade any of them.
  22. Is Vaccaro a Demski kind of guy....after his 1st contract, he's likely to come home? I know he has a lot of ties to this community.
  23. well for one thing. It's quite literally can't exist around PAS. There just isn't the room, unless the university is going to get rid of all of it's parking. And I honestly wouldn't care 1 bit if it some how did happen. AND if anyone decides to live there, thinking there would be no issues around noise/traffic etc etc while that venue is being used....they're idiots and as long as those properties are making $$ no one is actually going to care.
