  1. Past hour
  2. other than his finger was half torn off....
  3. I watched that Edmonton game and wasn't super impressed with BC's offense. Buck looked a lot like O'Shea in his first season as HC, kind of lost and not knowing what was going on most of the time.
  4. Copeland not a HOF'er IMO. One great year in an all-time great offense in Montreal and a lot of underwhelming years as a #1/#2 target. Not a big playoff performer. Consistently good, not great. Just around for awhile. Like Dalton Schoen has already had two seasons up there with Copeland's best.
  5. Last year BC came in here 5-1 for first game of a home and home. Basically a chance for them to put us in their rearview for good, split the games and they'd have tiebreak plus be up 3 games. Win both, up 4 games with tiebreaker. Bombers were 2-6. Vernon Adams was the MVP. Bombers had 6 DL dressed. 10 LB's. Schoen was gone. BC had 1 first down in the first half. I think we can put some trust in Jordan Younger to build his D to beat this team. Bombers won here 25-0. Bombers won in BC 20-11. Bombers won the West Division. BC averaged 12 points a game against the Bombers last season. They didn't even get a chance to play us in the playoffs. Now they have Rourke and Buck, so we'll see. I wouldn't expect Vaval to get any reps on D unless there are injuries. He's on to return. So put that guy who's a returner and does nothing else at DB, receiver, backup place kicker, does it matter? Can't get too deep into the weeds here.
  6. Yes, Bombers HOF class of 2008. 3 time all-star, MOC winner, 12th all-time in take aways. Doesn't immediately come to my mind as a great either but I'm sure there are worse in the HOF.
  7. As much as I should be happy for Buck getting a head coaching gig in BC, I just can't pull for him. I'm more thank God he's gone than he deserved the job & sad to see him go.
  8. i always wished the Brian Wilson had written one more verse. Great song but I feel it's too short.
  9. 6 bucks is great for a good beer... But for that piss rice water stuff? Way too much..
  10. Today
  11. Justin McInnis (prove me wrong, Bombers!)
  12. I think that biggest issue for debate is not whether he was hurt or not, but what does it take for MOS to pull a starter whom he has great respect and admiration for if things are working well for that athlete on the field over a extended period of time?
  13. And for arguments sake even if everyone on staff agreed they had a capable QB2 to come in ready to go it really felt that the only way MOS would bring in another QB would be that Zach 100% physically couldn't go, i.e., I'm sticking with Zach no matter what unless he gets carted off. Dedication to the athlete versus other viable options. Tricky balancing act.
  14. Scott Flagel??? Was good but does not stand out in my mind as one of the all time greats, is he even in the Bomber HOF?
  15. Buck has said Collaros told him he was good to, and he didn't have a reason to not believe him.
  16. I know...but damn they made a killing last year. No need to do this to me.
  17. Sure did (if you consider Coors or Coors Light beer) - was $5 last year.
  18. Wait, they raised the price of beer?
  19. Given our overall roster, I'd rather see them not use a DI on a linebacker and/or not two on DBs.
  20. Thing is, we are silly over run at lber and db even compared to normal. We could have teams help in other guys like bailey too. Its just an odd depth chart.
  21. 225 to 230 range isn’t impossible to play edge at. If you’re quick and have good hands you could have a hay day with slow tackles. He’s got the tenacity and intangibles but man I’d rather see him polished in camp and pre season then eased in if that’s the goal. If any thing I’d probably toss tony jones to edge in a bind.
  22. The chart is deep.....really deep
  23. Dedrick Mills
