  1. Past hour
  2. Kate is horrible. I left my remote in the other room and couldn't mute the panel fast enough
  3. Spoiled? Jeez. 29 year drought doesn't seem too pampered to me bro
  4. With the big crowd.. atmosphere...noise and confusion...too bad we didnt have the sense to dress an aggressive dline to pressure and take advantage of all that
  5. Brady apparently spoke to Hogan. Do we see a 20 plus touch day for him?
  6. keys to the game Limit the run. we aren’t going to get a lot of pressure on harris, so we need to atleast limit the riders run success on first down. Hold to fgs, harris has long had a tendency to drive the field and falter in the red zone. if we can hold their offence to just 1 maybe 2 majors it’ll go a long way to helping us win. they aren’t going to out kick us after all. limit the 2 and outs/consistent gains on first down. if we can keep the chains moving we can turn this into a slow ugly grinding game. winning a shoot out will be much harder for us, so we need to control the games tempo. players to watch, vanterpool, wilson, mitchell, kramdi and kr/vaval. It’ll be interesting to see if mitchell gets half the kr reps or if vaval plays most of the db reps and all the kr reps. classic mafia roster management
  7. I’m stoked to see Wilson back in the lineup today. I think getting our top receiver back from last year is a bigger deal than people are making it seem!
  8. So guys not good to go...why not put someone else on?? Dumb not to He will just stand there all game taking up a spot
  9. If he had played all yr...he'd have missed all next...and playing a guy not healthy and really not as a difference maker...whats the point
  10. Happens all the time. Surgery has the long recovery. Gavin Walls played almost half a season braced. Schoen had that big brace on. Trying to make it through this season then deal with it in off-season and probably miss a lot of next season.
  11. I see the next player in the ring of honour is covered up. Is that happening today and did I miss the news on this lol.
  12. I'm sure you're very talented but I would prefer if Brady gets the carries
  13. I am hoping for 15+ carries tonight... run the damn ball.
  14. Today
  15. I like our chances at home. Hopefully we can get off to a quick start and keep the crowd involved
  16. It's when the losses are self inflicted that it gets depressing.
  17. We, as a fanbase, are so ******* spoiled it's ridiculous. It's been too good for too long. Some of us can't handle the adversity. I hate losing but man.. the offseason is way too long. I will never not be incredibly pumped for every game day. LFG!!!
  18. Games are always exciting. We all sat and watched faithfully far worse teams than this. The schoen situation is just a real bummer is all.
  19. Damn. Finding it hard to get excited for this team this year...
  20. Perfect day to pound the rock. So, what, 2 carries for Brady we think?
  21. used to happen a lot. guys playing repeatedly through torn and re torn tendons and similar injuries isn’t the norm in football any more. not for maybe 10 years down south, not up here since jones riders tore all the ligaments and tendons in tc. i doubt if investigated it will turn out to be at the hands of our medical team. they are really good. i bet they made a recommendation, and the bombers + schoen decided to play ama. maybe refused an mri.
  22. I don't care that we are mid. Don't lose the BB.
  23. And medical incompetence happens anywhere, to anyone. I am not saying there is no negligence here, I think it's a sucky situation anyway you look at it. I'm just saying medical mistakes can and do happen.
  24. It's not noise... it's the reality of the season.
  25. Thing is...he tore it again in cgy...Likely tore away where the graft was attached to the bone...have hard time thinking a hamstring graft would have tore so early into existence with non-contact....but possibly...they said and I heard torn nonetheless so either from bone or in half 6 games ir didn't fix anything...maybe swelling..that's it LD game...he made it worse to point even with a brace now he's shot...plain and simple...lotsa fingers to point in lotsa directions...fact of matter...should never been back on field after cgy injury...should have been in surgery...he won't be back next yr...if they smart...jury is out on the smart Its no different than if we braced up Bonds....we didnt because we had other DB candidates...we didnt at WR...so....well we all know what happened
  26. What more information do you need? He tore his ACL Last year. He came back, really ahead of schedule from most recommendations for ACL tears, less than 12 months. He plays a couple of games, has a non-contact injury on the same knee and is put on the 6 game. He appears again, wearing a brace, makes it through a couple weeks of practice, and the vast majority of a game and now is out for the season, and likely until labour day next year best case. O'Shea has come out and was like, yeah he tore it again in Calgary. The ACL provides stability in the knee joint but they try to augment what he has left with a huge ass brace. The medical staff tells him he probably can't do any additional damage. Schoen says he accepts the risks. O'Shea feels that a gimpy Schoen is the best option in the WR Corps. Schoen is a professional athlete, those cats are wired differently. Someone needs to be the adult in the room and protect him from himself. Whether it's the medical staff saying that this is dumb AF and refusing to clear him, O'Shea saying I know you feel you are ready to go but you need to take care of yourself, or Walters overruling them all and pulling the plug. Everyone likes to tout FIFO as some kind of positive mantra... but this is the negative side of it. Players putting their own health at risk and ultimately hurting the team long and short term. There have been WAY too many instances of players playing through significant injury and snookering the team.
