Winnipeg cheap. LOL!

I think it has more to do with the on-field product than being cheap.  I have extra tickets to both October games that I'll be lucky to get rid of at any price, especially if the weather doesn't cooperate!

It can definitely be hard to sell tickets in losing years... I've never sold one of my tickets... in the 12 years I've had season tickets I've missed 4 or 5 games... and a few times I had trouble giving them away...

Bomber fans are among the most loyal anywhere. We put up with a lot so I  was just having a bit of fun.

I may be the only person in Wpg who's choosing the Bombers over the Jets Friday night....

I would always choose the Bombers over the jets... the only time their games ever cross over is October when I'm really not that invested in the NHL yet and Bomber games are (theoretically should be) meaningful...

I'll be there too and, like I said in my rant thread, I'll be bringing my son for his first CFL game.  I'm praying that it's at least watchable and not a blow out by the 3rd quarter.  Told him that if he played his cards right I'd buy him a Bomber hat.  I'd hate to have him say, "Thanks, but no thanks."

I've got 3 for sale, but not because we're boycotting, one of the three ticket holders is getting married.

There is also a single seat beside us that can be bought through ticket master.

I have a single ticket that I need to get rid of for Friday. I'm officiating a wedding that day. Haven't bothered to try and move it until today, but if anyone is looking for one ticket shoot me a PM and we can work something out.

All taken care of, thanks for the offers tho guys and as to the ticker master side of things.. why not try to see if there is a cheaper option first?

I became a Bomber fan during the late 60's when they couldn't win either. In 68 they were 3-13, 69, something like 3-12-1 & 70 2-14. I never saw them win an away game on television until the 71 season. Don't ask me what turned me on to the team during those dark times. I just loved football, my city & the team. So,hopefully your son will become a fan as well.

That is a distinct possibility.

There's a Lamborghini dealership that just opened up here in Calgary about 3 months ago right during the recession which has hit this city hard.. I don't know how they'll do. Maybe there's still enough money out here to get them thru until things get better.

Agreed - don't get 17 comment at all. I don't care who you are, how much money you have, or where you live. I have never, ever, heard anyone in my life 'brag' about paying full retail for something. Ridiculous comment ( umm well actually the really rich - like the late Michael Jackson as an example - shops with their accountant... "Life's been Good" by Joe Walsh has a great line in there "my accountant pays for it all" which means the really rich don't even look at prices - they see something they want they point at it and say "I'll take it" - that's a fact - I've seen it. To only be that rich....... maybe 17to85 is one of those?)

lots of them are yeah. 

I've got no problem paying less for stuff, but I'm sure not going to publicly tell people I'm too poor to pay full price
