Speaking as someone who hasn't followed too much NFL preseason, I had to take note of Lawless' comments prior to the BC/TOR game tonight.

Surprising no one, Muamba is likely to stick with the Colts. Also Dontrelle Inman looks to be in good shape with the Chargers.

Dressler and Sheets however may be in a bit tough. Could see both back in the CFL this season. Dressler would be an FA and Desjardins is already saying he is interested, but so is Taman.

Anyway, all food for thought.

I'd be stunned if mulumba or muamba came back north this season.. We might see bikuilidi at some point which would be awesome.. Hopeful for Chris Mathews as well...

Sheets and dressler will fuel a bidding war (well dressler anyway) with sheets landing in saskabush again... Dressler for some reason lands in Ottawa in my minds eye..

Odd note that i came across.. Prechai Rodriguez is still toiling in the NFL.. with the bears I believe this year... Never thought he was there for anything other then a cup of coffee..

From what I've read, Sheets seems to be doing quite well in camp so far. Raiders fans seem to think that he should be kept around as the 3rd or 4th RB.

Dressler should be cut shortly. Yet another unproductive game from him tonight.

 

Inman had 107 yards receiving in his preseason debut and should make the team. He has some value on special teams as well.

 

Muamba should also make the Colts. He was in on 11 tackles and forced a fumble in his preseason debut.

Inman should be a reserve / special teams guy for the Chargers. Might be able to sneak in to the #5 spot.

 

Sheets only has to beat out one guy to make the Raiders roster if they keep three running backs.

Muamba only had 1 tackle and 1 assisted yesterday. Not sure how many snaps he took but obviously thats much different than the 11 last week.

Muamba is a lock to stay in the NFL this season.

I saw a bit of Muamba in the earlier game…

 

he looked really good. diving through to make a tackle in the backfield, catching and grabbing a receiver on the outside, he was 

 

all over the field, and did not look out of place at all.

 

wonder how mathews is doing, I don't think he has many catches. they have a receiver they drafted

I'll be very surprised if both Inman and Muamba don't stick in the NFL.  The other guys might be coming back.

Trestman picked Chris Williams over Dressler. I'd be very surprised if Weston got another shot anywhere else when he's eventually cut from the Chiefs. Hopefully he isn't back with the Riders until after the Banjo Bowl. 

I wouldn't mind us taking a run at Sheets if he's released by the Raiders.

I've been following the Bears pretty closely and I am quite sure Prechae Rodriguez hasn't been with them at all. Unless they signed him this weekend.

 

Looks like he's been playing arena football the last few years.

I can't see Taman not driving a dump truck full of $$$ up to Dressler's house.

Apparently he has the cap space to make a good run at re-signing him.  Although I can see MD writing a blank-cheque as well.

Knew I wasn't losing my mind.. As of August 16th on his Facebook account, "blessed with opportunity" with a picture of him with a name placard, #13 and in Nike bears shorts n a shirt... Dunno how to post pics so can't post it tho..

Dressler still has full PR eligibility left. Wouldn't shock me to see the Bears bring him in for a look see.

Do the Riders have room even with the extra 600,000 in SMS space? Lots of guys on higher paid deals there and apparently Taman back ended a lot of last year's salary on this year.

Just saw on Monday Night Countdown NFL PR  going from 8 to 10. 60 Extra players wonder the impact on CFL.

Not sure if Dressler even accepts a PR spot. Would make more money in the CFL.
