I watched parts of the game again today...on several plays quick passes to the flats when the Als brought the house would've gained good yardage. There was literally no one out there. We didn't make them pay for the blitz often enough - until we do teams will be pinning their ears back. Exactly, 'enough' being the key word. With the receiving situation in Saskatchewan in turmoil, Etienne couldn't make their team & hasn't been brought back since Getzlaff has been out. I wouldn't want to take him out of the lineup now if Watson was healthy enough to come back to play. The guy is making making big plays for us. We want players like that on the field not standing on the sidelines. Hell I would take out Denmark and roll with 3 Canadian receivers. We are already using Kohlert and JFG well enough, the question is can Watson be a bigger impact than Denmark and I say yes he can. When he plays which isn't often. Not game changing players, but starter quality NI receivers. And you have an OL that has been deficient for a number of years. Watman shores up a guard position for you immediately, and could be our ticket to no Morley by year's end. Leaving aside the assumptions on Watman being better than what we currently have, why would Saskatchewan trade Watman? He's one injury from starting, and Picard is coming to the end of the line. They have 7 NI OL active, nobody behind them, the 7th OL being a mid-round pick from this season. Baillageron is out for the season. Good luck trading for a Canadian OL this season.
