Just get the lay of the land... I  have no clue the way other teams are looking, what they are doing, the injury situation around the CFL, etc. So I'll hold off for awhile.

Pretty much this - I have no idea what the other teams have done in the offseason other than the big moves - judging before the pre season starts is kinda fruitless

agreed, need to wait until after the preseason games to really get a better feel for what other teams are going to look like. See if there's been any new faces unearthed at positions of need for a bunch of teams etc. Or you know, if for example Ricky Ray breaks his leg in a preseason game that changes the argos outlook just a tiny bit....

Especially with teams like B.C., who seem to change a few starters every year.

With 18 games, you can even go 3 or 4 games into the regular season before making a prediction...
