IF we don't add a couple of difference makers in the next week, it will indicate we're not interested in the rest of the season..We know there's one out there in Geno....Could we make a deal with the guy or are we even interested ??...

I think you gotta wonder why nobody has signed him yet. I don’t think he is what he was anymore. I’d like to see some new recruits. Give singer and Womack a chance. Cuz our O appears to be duck n chuck. 3 American oline and a QB goes down every game. That’s the biggest problem on O besides “Tommy”.

The D? They can’t stop a cold. This team isn’t a Gino Lewis away from competing even. They got some major holes. Major. The fact Stanley Bryant is still playing is just crazy. Got Zach killed again yesterday. The coaches and management appear oblivious to the fact that 2 games vs a team who set the modern day record for losses in a row was this close should be causing major red flags to be waved.

Zach is done also. I guess this season is go down with the guys who brought you up in the first place. Kyrie. Nichols. Holm. Zach. Stan. Neufeld. Willie only vet who isn’t showing his age yet.

It's crazy they keep playing Bryant but that's Osh. If he had his way he'd still be playing Thomas.

Maybe Bryant is playing because there’s nobody behind him that’s better than he is. Is that on O’Shea?

If Stanley Bryant is still playing it could mean he’s the best option. That would be on Kyle then. Our oline sucks and it’s not just Stan tho. Are we bringing guys in tho? Nope we ain’t. O’Shea can only play who is available to him. Like receiver like lb like DB, there’s not many around on the PR is there. Not as much as there should be. You gotta pr of basically special teamers. You have nobody pushing the vets. At all, coaches included but no players pushing them either. It’s a free ride for Stan Kyrie and the vets. That starts with Kyle there. Kyle is osheas boss. Kyle can cut and bring guys in as he pleases. Kyle doesn’t do **** tho.

How’s Cline doing with the fins? You need guys like him to come up cuz we traded our 1st and even a guy like Manu would be huge , I doubt he ever comes as he’s prob gonna get a nice payout. But outside of that, you can bring in other American oline since 2 of the 3 kinda suck.but that’s not a fix right now problem is it and that’s a huge huge issue. No doubt Perkins will be starting soon.

That crunch on ZC is no way on Stan..he may have called out the free backside guy..and nobody responded..he takes that guy..then the inside guy comes in even faster for a free shot.

ZC too is to blame..a vet of his tenure should have saw that and either adjusted...or got on his horse on a sprint out...doesn't help either that he rarely even reads the side of field pre snap that the ball isnt intended to go to.

Bryant has deserved some of the British this yr...not all...and def not that crunch on ZC

No. That was on Zach but a few that game were on Stan also. It’s a theme.

Broxton is the best LT in the league, Vanterpool is hands down better at RT then stan is at any position now. I think Poncius is legit as well. But no one is behind stan in terms of play anymore. He's below replacement level.

And therein is our issue...Osh won't make changes...and i think he truly can't recognize deficiencies...thats a problem

It was certainly not on the position of LT.

It does fall on the leader of the OL who sets the line. When watching a good OL play, when the D sneaks up late, you see the pointing and callouts. Normally, you would have a line adjustment to slide that way and allow the T to take the rusher, or at least chip them and get the back on em.

In the past, we would've seen this from no fewer than 3 guys: the T, Neuf, and the C.

Zach should've picked that up, but he's been blind to the non-hot side for years.

Yep, that is the source of many of our problems. Walters does the same.

I have to work during the season?

Kyle Walter's probably

Essentially the center calls it out..others can and may have..but nobody responded..also that was a true brain dead zc moment..he needs to be better if for anything his own self preservation

And where was BO..out on a stupid split wide formation..I dont recall and also another in the long line of stupid reasons to do that too much...I woukdnt be shocked if ott schemed that and if they saw BO split out to overload the edge knowing the guy who pick that up wasn't there..essentialy another teams coaxhing eating our lunch

I kind of want to re look up the snap, im pretty sure no one called it or noted it. And we've seen that many times this year. Only one other time was near that violent though.

Brady was sent to the other side of the field, which just worsens things. Atleast if we sent him to the blind side he could pick up an emergency block or a blitz beater route. Not that zach would pick it up.

Its the big boss work that he doesn't want to do. Not a ton of additions that can be made mid season any more sadly.

Recognizing that .....and I agree, what are the options for this club.....Contracts are making a move coach wise prohibitive ....There has to be an intervention AND either the powers that be haven't the gumption to take any action or they're complicit in what is going on....I don't think anyone likes a loser, which lately we have certainly taking on the aura of one ....It's a tough nut to crack and one that there's no easy answer for....Having said that not doing a damned thing to rectify our problems is NOT the answer

Exactly. The fact they have Stan at LT and Broxton at RT shows how absolutely delusional the coaching staff is. LT is the most important non quarterback position in football. He is getting his quarterbacks absolutely killed out there. Move Broxtin to LT, Vanterpool to RT and dress Stan as the 6th man if you don’t have the heart to cut him. There’s no way he should be playing LT at any capacity. This isn’t 2018 or even 2023. There’s a reason why 40 year old lineman don’t exist in professional football. He’s just too slow. I don’t mean to sound doom and glom but this offense will not have any real success until he’s out of the lineup and there seems to be no indication a change is going to be made.

Even at right tackle he would be more effective...flip flop him and Broxton if we have no balls to make the tuff decisions

Broxton is a little overrated IMO. He's average at best in pass pro. You can tell he lives in fear of getting beat by a speed rush because he always kicks way too wide instead of getting depth. He'd never play tackle in the US, he'd be a guard.

Honestly one of the things I would try is Wallace at LT....he plays guard like a tackle in pass pro, and Broxton at guard. Vanterpool or Poncius or whoever at RT.

Have to convince all these guys to get depth vs the edge guys because they forget their main advantage is their size and forcing guys to get to the spot where the can bend the edge before a guy like Broxton or Wallace gets their hands on them.

Broxton does play that alot...much like Yoshi did...does

Yeah, how many times have I read here that Keric Wheatfall wouldn't have helped us... I'll believe that when Hell freezes over. Draft or sign free agents & develop for other teams. One contract & done. Then let them walk. This time for the Ti Cats. It's what we do.

You're not full of doom & gloom. You're a realist. It's Osh who is delusional & living in a fantasy world. We had an easy picking team on Frioday night. No more freebies from here anymore. This is the meat of the schedule. The next 5 games will tell the tale of the season.

People here try to defend it by basing things on last yr...and in that poor offence a basically 1st yr starter for us as not the main target pulled in 655 yards in 16 games..4 tds and almost 16 yards per catch..to say he was a bust and wouldn't help us here over what Cobb..Nield...Corcoran have given us is just plain nonsense

Should have been retained to at least compete and if we found something better...well thats a plus and he could be let go or solid backup..now we have several guys playing who offer less...thats sound roster management if I ever seen it

Was just going to say that. As an OL you take the man that's going to get to the QB first. They teach that in Pop Warner ffs.

Keric Wheatfall wouldn't have helped us any more than White or Wilson unless we go with 3 IMPs.

He would tho over cobb..corc..neild tho..he didn't need to be a true #1 ..just a guy who can make big plays and take attention away from the aforementioned..

Walters has done a terrible job retaining talent. Terrible. There is a long list of players saying they just waited for a decent offer that never came.

Yeah he did..but why? Was it his HC said he didnt want him or think he good enough..so he obliged?

Was it osh begged for him to stay..but walters had other idea?

Was it Wheatfall said eff you Osh i dont like the way things went here?

All possible reasons.. Will we ever know? Likely not...but based on game day rosters we have seen..player use...and non use..dumb in game decisions...like not giving BOLO a single snap on Grey Cup when we had 3 recievers who couldn't run let alone be effective in anyway.. so he left on his own accord..not we didn't want him, I lean more to the side that it was Osh's preference to go a different direction

The argument re: wheatfall is if we had retained him he would..and in effect the offence morph into a juggernaut..thats not it..but his presence over 2 others that are starting would 100 percent make us a better group and not worst in the league..and likely in effect allow Demski/White/Wilson more space to up their production
