And/or trade pieces. I think Manu is probably the only guy who would be able to play and contribute right away. Maybe cline if he gets a good bit of C reps in NFL camp.

I would keep 2...dangle one in a trade...If Ottawa would take Taylors rights for Geno and maybe a mid level draft pick swap and or a back end of roster guy...You make that deal as it will impact us positively in the immediate

Reading the article on the Bomber sight gives me know real optimism for hope or change tho...Both Younger and Osh are clueless to whats the underlying issues...I say issues as its not just scheme...or just players

They keep yammering about communication issues...confusion of who takes who...when...and where type stuff...We are into the second 3rd of season now and communication and or execution of what you trying to do shouldnt be the issue and excuse...they need to wake the eff up or we are doomed....Or is it they just cant wake up as they are just out to lunch?...I think it's leaning a lil more that way to be honest

Yep. For me, cline would be the one I would look to trade ideally.

I just figured Taylor being from out that way be more appealing to them...Tho I do think he has the most upside...Either way 2 of those 3 would be huge to have as staples on the oline here for yrs....structure your roster and drop this $$ allotment b.s per group so you can once again build a deep and dominate oline...

I think tho Cline could be one the early cuts that may happen before full cutdon

He is only gauranteed 2k from his deal and 2k signing bonus and the dolphins either traded for, or signed 4 other Tackles...so assume he in tough there..

Is the CFL stats package accurate? Through 3 games and 114 pass attempts Brown has attempted exactly 0 passes in the red zone?

Edit something must be screwy, doesn't look like any last game but there was a few in his first couple starts. Wonder what the deal is

That and being 3/18 with 4 picks on passes 20+ yards downfield is a pretty wild stat

Think he's referring to film study and it is a lot different...the truth. You can see every single decision made on a play by every single player on the field and know if it's right or wrong, what made a play work or not, who did their job and who didn't.

It seems to me that reviewing the film is pointless if it is determined in advance that no significant changes will be made.

At some point you gotta stop pretending that you can correct these mistakes with film work. It's been 8 weeks of the season, it is what it is. Either these players don't get it or can't execute it so something needs to change.

Exactly right. What a lot of people don't realize is that one person's mistake can make another look bad and so you review the tape.

You need to know what players don't get it and what the mistakes were. The ONLY way to correct the mistakes is with film work because you need to know what the mistakes were.

Success is championships...wins are nice...looking good in reg season sure...but the last 4 seasons if you ask any player...were not a success.

Let's phone MOS and tell him to avoid film work and just start sitting players because they don't get it.

They weren't abject failure either. The team didn't reach it's ultimate goal over the past 4 years but we played in the championship in 3 of them. That may not be ultimate success but hardly failure either. Last year wasn't great by our high standards but the three previous years 7 other teams would have gladly traded places with us.

Are you deliberately obtuse? They've had a full preseason and 2 months of the season to do film work. Time to cut bait on the players who don't get it

yeah no excuse now...for excuses...Film work is fine and dandy if you can isolate and identify the reasons for the failing....be it scheme and or player performance.

But we fail to recognize or admit sub par player performances or have the plums to yank them from lineup, so we keep trotting them out there...thats part of the problem

Film work will never solve a talent deficiency.

Has anyone actually said, stop watching film? I think people are upset at what results from the watching of film…. Or doesn’t result.

Identifying the problems with film work and fixing them are two different things.
