Barker was awful on TSN,  shallow insight and out of touch opinions.   LaPo is a million times better then him on TSN.     

Did they ever acknowledge or mention Matt at all since he left?

All depends on where u may be overpaying...in the cfl...db...lb...de...even rb should never be huge salaries...those are...and should be the easiest to recycle thru and continuously plug in new guys on entry level deals

Dl..ol..top flight wr...qb...yessir! Lock in and load the pricey core guys there

And u draft smart..with eye on guys with starter potential and not just ST guys...great/potential laden guys can play ST and ease into rotation for starter and legit backup roles...ST only plugs...are just that...and we seen first hand they add zero to the true depth...just cause you have certain amount of guys on roster listed at certain positions doesn't constitute depth...

And we have 600k hard tied into our guy...if the new OC and better talent still yield same kinda play/results...what a frigging boat anchor around our throats...especially if we have to drop another 450k+ into BO and Demski

1 million of cap in 3 guys...1 in serious decline...one getting up in age and struggles to stay healthy...and one u could replace and get more than adequate production at half the cost for a vet...or a third for a new guy...gonna be interesting

I believe the cap is going up again substantially. By how much, who knows? This time, Walters better be prepared & quit blaming the CFLPA for everything.

You don't like a QB making 600k  when he has sparkling numbers such as 34 TD and 31 Ints over the last 2 seasons.

Not much of one. 509k is what he is worth. Not a discount. At the end of the day he's a 40+ year old QB. That comes with considerable risk to his team despite performance.

I can agree with that. If we see a massive increase to actual SMS for player salaries then numbers change accordingly

There actually usually isnt. Last year, we lost Dobson and Ford, who'd fit this category. One could argue Adrian Greene and Sean McEwen but that's about it.

ni db is a rare ratio breaker especially out side of S. But you can always get canadians at other positions. Or going down to regular roster usage. Last year was not a great ni fa period out side of our guys.

That’s pretty interesting. Kinda lazy on their end imo. Hamilton is gonna end up filling the spot with a guy no one else would have doing that job otherwise.

I think the CFL will announce the cap in mid January & not mid Feb like last year. That should give time to prepare.

If he had 30 ints..id feel a bit better lol
