....Yeah....time to get aggressive in our search for talent ....We seem to dawdle along until most of the talent is spoken for....Let the player(s) 'KNOW' that we are interested in their services now....All the other clubs are in that game

How do you know this is what's happening?

IF we come up with the same results as last season...I think it's safe to say it's happening....We don't want to be late to the table and end up with the type of fa signings we had in 25'...There had to be some heavy early gm work by other clubs ....most of the prime signings seemed to be lined up before fa and most of the good players were committed or gone immediately when fa opened....leaving us with the scraps....Logan and Mitchell come to mind

There could be any number of things going on right now that are behind closed doors (as they should be). Maybe we were the very first team to start approaching players and coaches alike... Planting seeds for next year. We have absolutely no way of knowing.

So what you're saying here is JT has been told he won't be offered a new contract?

Love you, let's enjoy the offseason together.

I truly am scared to see who our pre-january extensions are gonna be...it will definitely set the tone and narrative as to what 2026 is gonna look like

Sure be a shame to right out of the gate deflate any and all hope of change and moving on from our garbage players/coaches

Big money for Philpot

Per three-down league sources, the Delta, B.C. native has received a $100,000 signing bonus as part of $275,000 in hard money for 2026. He will earn $285,000 in hard money in 2027, which includes a $100,000 base salary guarantee.

It was to be expected but a shame about Philpot. I do wonder about the Als and salary. Philpot with a huge extension. Pierre Oliver Lestage is now one of the highest paid guards. They seem to have no issue extending everybody.

and we should help in driving it up too....I figured he may have wanted to go back home to MTL and they would be a suiter for nim...still could be too I guess but then may need to drop salary of another reciever there...I'd go hard at Mack if he is a FA or woud become a casualty of a Emilus signing

crazy money. 4 seasons, only been healthy for 1, topped out at jsut over 800 yards and 5 tds. He was very good and a great guy to have but what do you pay him if he puts up 1200-1500 and 8-10 tds the next two years?

Lestage is getting the bag, too.

Haven’t you been advocating to let Oliveira walk over money?

within reason I guess I should have said...we let guys walk where we could have absorbed what they left for

If you look back I wasn't really a fan of BO's first deal either...That position is one where you shouldnt be sinking 230+ k into
