Ehhhh that seems like such a loser Manitoban thing to do... Selling your tickets. I don't wanna be the world's biggest Alouettes fan, but I will be next weekend. Will be great to have one last game day experience at the barn. Looking forward to the pre game tailgate as always and celebrating this amazing league one last time before they **** everything up with shitty rules changes.

Vive Les Alouettes!!

Wash your mouth out. Never a fan of another team not for one second. gross. yes i’m a toddler.

Where did Buck learn clock management? All BC had to do was run run punt and they kill an extra 20 seconds meaning the Riders don't have time to score. Buck calls a pass, Rourke throws the ball away, the clock stops. Riders score with 11 seconds that they shouldn't have had.

My takeways from the game:

1. Despite all of the mocking in this forum, O'Day built a better team for the past two years than Wlaters

2.) All of the playoff QBs in the playoffs (plus two other CFL QBs) are better than Collaors

3. Rourke is a legit primo QB

4. BC would have won if not for a crappy defence

5. IMO, the Als will beat the Riders in the Grey Cup game

6. None of this is any comfort for Bombers fans

And a ton of time spent reviewing the play. I was sure it was a catch, but from this angle it should have been overturned.

That was my first reaction but I thought the officials had a better view.

Yup, No.12 is the real deal ,made a couple plays that made me go ,whoa. Yeah, some questionable clock management cost the Lions. Hell of  a game though.

Whats you all whining about? Isnt the Championship Game be supposed to be between the best 2 teams????

Seems that's what we got.

In what is likely the final gc played under proper cfl rules/field, here in winnipeg, You’d hope for the most deserving teams the most entertaining game, and the teams for whom this could mean the most.

We aren’t getting that, we are getting two of the top teams, also 2 of the most spoiled (up there with us to be fair) and likely the dullest match up.

Also, you think people here would cheer for the riders being in the gc?

I disagree that itll be a dull matchup.

Who are the most deserving teams then? Sure as hell not our Blue.

Could not agree with you more! What a horrible play call by Buck. And to move to a 3 man rush when the Riders had the ball was beyond dumb IMHO. BC gave the dang game away IMHO.

And might I add as the resident toddler around these parts the difference between cheering for and pulling for. Much much different as in I will never cheer for any other team other than the Blue Bombers and the Jets but I may occasionally pull for another team based on how it may help our team and/or my different levels of love or hate for specific players, coaches, fans of other teams etc etc.

Once again, thanks for coming to my TedTalk.

We will see. But i’d bet it won’t be a good one. I don’t think montreals offence will perform well in the elements here, and I think ssk matches up poorly with mtls D. I don’t think it’ll be overly physical or a defensive gem. No particular rivalry between the two, and two teams with a tendency to play as much after the whistle as before.

Hamilton bc imo, most deserving and the one that it would mean the most for as a franchise.

And no, we certainly do not deserve it. I don’t think we deserved the record or play off spot. I think two years in a row we were much worse than our out come.

AND the shot that showed the turf helped him secure the ball, was only shown once and scrapped.....I don't know what the hell the 'centre for the blind' saw, but it sure wasn't kosher

Are you talking about the 2nd last time BC had the ball?  They still needed 3 first downs to ice the game.  Sask had a timeout.  They called a pass on 2nd and 6 when they needed that first down and 2 more to not give the ball back around 1 min.  2:35 when they ended the 1st down play.  Way too early to just try to sit on the lead.  There were literally 3 possessions after this.  Needed first down.

The final time they had the ball they ran twice.  Sask used timeout after 1st down play.

I love a physical, defensive, cold weather battle. So if that happens I’ll be thrilled. Though I think the average cfl fan wants a high scoring action packed offensive shoot out.
