This game is winnable if the Offence can win TOP and play ball control with no turnovers.

Ottawa’s defence isn’t great.
Something similar to the game in Montreal could get a W.

Can’t keep up with a shootout. If Ottawa wins TOP our front will get eroded as they have been the last 3 weeks.

I will be at the game today. I've probably seen ten Bomber games on the road in my life (most of them LDCs) and I've never seen them win. Something tells me today is not the day my streak will be broken. But we'll see.

Keys to the game,

Strev evolves into a real qb1. It might not be his last chance but it is close to it. If he's ever going to take the next step it's gotta be soon. Might not be another start for him in this league if he doesn't step up.

Hogan get out of his own and our own way. Gotta run, and use some of those WRs well.

The secondary has to dominate for the D to excel. It sure won't be the front. We need the secondary from this time last year to show up.

Yup db’s have to step up and clamp down but if no support (i.e pressure) they can’t zone or man to man cover for ever. Not my favorite D system when you don’t have the horses to run it. And for the love of goodness let’s go O.

You sound like Doug Brown last week now. Keys to the game, streveler limits to one turnover maximum, thirty seconds later throws terrible interception

Terrible playcall that has been picked before because defenses know it's coming. If Hogan pulls that crap out again he needs to be fired on the spot because not only is it easy picking for the defense but there's no one to stop the return going to the house. Dumb playcall period.

have to agree! Terrible play call last week. My problem is that we have  a bad OC coupled with a Bad QB and a substandard OL. So not too hopeful today.

Keys...we left O.C guy at home and handed things to Jackson

Strev needs a play package geared to him...and also play off it...with the misdirection and actually deviate from just strictly dives with no threat of him pulling it on a bootleg or sprint out and catch dbs cheating on run...we have probably never implemented that

Defensive pressure...switch up scheme as a surprise cause we know Ott is gonna totally be sitting on what we do...and with time...Brown is cerebral and calm enough to pick the meat right off our bones

That reverts to offence too...run plays off the crap we do that everyone just been sitting on and actually run plays off that to take advantage if it...give the bloody qb's a fighting chance

Biggest key....don't get outcoached and out classed in 2nd half.....again!

Does anyone have the stats/numbers which breakdown how many points/yards our offense has gained per quarter this season?     I'm curious to see if quarter 3 + 4 is much different from the first half of the game.

100% it is. 3rd quarter specifically has been horrible all year.

Lapo out here spitting truth on the OB pre game that fans desperately need to hear. Really fantastic stuff.

Didn't like his comment about Strev and how he used him ei...making him throw as little as possible. While also stating that its a throwing league. Wonder how different Strev would be if they used him, to quote lapo, "as a thrower who could run, not a runner who can throw".

Got a TL:DR for those not watching the pregame?

He talked about a few things. He did admit to playing Brink too early instead of going with Jyles. He was talking about Wilson vs Streveler. Thought that was interesting. And like my above post mentioned talked about how he wanted to use strev as OC.

today’s must win scale, 8/10.

We are one game up on edmonton and toronto for the last play off spot and 2 games up on ott. Toronto lost, and edm has its hands full with edm. need to gain ground on the out side gang and bury ottawa

Of the remaining games this is probably the most winnable even with Streveler at qb but the D has to keep Ottawa's O in check and hope that Streveler does just enough

Lapo said the Bombers INTs have been on the RECs a lot..

Not coming off the line properly, not fighting for it... Really letting both QBs down. And basically said the screaming for "the next guy" (whoever th back up QB happens to be) is really dumb. Coaches know who's ready and who's not. Tough to get the back ups (especially 3rd stringers) any meaningful reps.

i agree our wrs haven’t done a great job of helping the qbs. but a big chunk of the picks have been terrible forced decisions.

I'm too lazy to go check if the mediocre roster was posted.

Anyone want to do me a favor and post it here?

I'm fully expecting a loss today. I will be thrilled and happy if they win but my life will go on if they lose.

Or in the last game just read like a book by a DB because we don’t deviate from anything already shown on film.
