On a personal note, I’ve hated the Argonauts for as long as I can remember.

They’ve always seemed to have the Bombers number in recent years, even during the dominant ‘21 season.
As much as I think we need to see another ass kicking to get some needed changes happening, I can’t hope for it in the slightest against the goddamn Argos.

I picked against them so bombers will win tonight eventho it’s pretty rare to do that in front of the hundreds of fans in the big smoke. Weird schedule. Bc back to back. Edmonton. Calgary back to back. Toronto back to back. Lots of back to backs still to come.

3 keys to the game

Zach-carry. We don’t need him to go off for 300-4, though that would help a lot, but we need him to not turn it over (or throw a pick 6), get 8+ a pass, and not get hit.

brady bowl. The injury and blow outs have taken us away from the core of our offence. We gotta get Brady going again and let him feast.

Adjustments. Both cos have had their units run off the field in blow outs and been unable to adjust. We need to see better from both.

Key for me...come prepared and well coached today for a change....play and coach with urgency and wanting to lay a licking...

We lose and look like we have for most part this season...that's coaching and we need to change our ways

Hopefully we use whats our bread and butter...varied run plays...we don't have the receiving group to attack down field..take whats there and own the clock...short leash ZC too if he is forcing stuff and trying to chuck deep all game...we do and we toast

Unleash the defense...non this passive crap and hope the QB cant find holes in the secondary...cause with 3..4 guys we employ with regular reps...there is a ton of them....attack the Buckle for facks sake!!

Sounds like a good game plan. I believe we can win this one if we just don't screw up too many times. That is the great unknown IMHO - how many times will we screw up? But at end of day even a small victory would be greatly appreciated. I will take a field goal at the end to win it for us!

Hate to be a deepsix downer and hope I’m wrong but I foresee loss #3 tonight to 1-6 Argos. I mean, other than Brady, where are we strong?

Trying to answer that question is kind of depressing.
..Holm has been playing relatively well. Demski is having a good year, though shouldn’t be the 1 option. Wheatfall is a good deep threat…Honestly that’s about it.

K, I agree to a certain point. And now, in the spirit of this is what’s fun about fandom… debating the details 😁, I offer the following quibbles:

Holm has been good but our secondary has been atrocious the last two games; Demski has been fantastic among a receiver group that is overall meh; Wheatfall would appear to be a decent deep threat, but is likely hamstrung by a weak supporting cast, porous O line, and a QB’s ever degrading escapability and arm strength/accuracy. Hard to know, then, how much these realities have impacted Keric’s overall effectiveness but I would submit that, to this point, if he is our best deep threat our strength in this area pales in comparison to the serious contenders.

This is a must win

Today, we should just run the snot out of the ball. Argos D is very effective bringing pressure but they are 7th in defending against the run - average of 118 yards per game given up on the ground. Let's mix it up and give the rock generously to Brady, Chris-Ike, Strev, Demski = Victory. Go Blue!

Feels more like lowered expectations. We’ve been rocked back to back and have made essentially no roster changes. We are less healthy than the first Calgary game too.

It just blows me away that they can get curb stomped like the 2 calgary games, including coming off a bye where historically this team has done tremendously well, and make absolutely no changes...
