Why aren't we taking the points?

MOS showing his dedication admiration respect for Buck Pierce. My guess is he would have kicked the field if its not BP. His strength can be his greatest weakness sometimes.

Strev was better than Rourke.

Rourke was completely off in the first half ,   mentally was rattled.   Had a few lucky big plays and not much else aside from feigning injury.

Strev was mentally solid in the first but very rusty on his throws.   Was much better in the 2nd half once he had time to make big plays.

Marquis Bridges has a guardian angel watching over him.

He had a Houston game imo. Beat a few times lucky a few times but squeezed the ball when it came to him. Not late stages crazy gambling Houston though.

Rourke was physically broken late too. That’s a rough combo.

Strevy really did dial in well though. Loved to see that. If he got the ball out faster and cleaner all game he could’ve had two more tds.

Pretty solid win without our starting QB and RB.

QB, RB, Returner, and not even close to our best defense. **** everyone who called for our demise. The Trinity out here long cocking people on the porch for a dollar...

The D looked very promising.  One playmaker on the d-line away from being really difficult.

End or tackle on the d line ?? With the 3 American oline which worked well tonight. It’s gonna be tough I think to get another DL on. I mean it wouldn’t be but what dude do you sit. I mean you already prob gonna dress Logan or Cooley if Brady out.

I'll do:
Bailey for Kornelson.
Cobb for Oliveira. Chris-Ike will be the backup RB.
Pickup Leroux to replace Benson (injured)

They need someone who can get off the line and beat the tackle off the edge when the situation calls for it, like 2nd and long.

Jefferson is going to do his thing with his eyes trying to read passing lanes and close those out.  He's not really rushing most of the time.  Get a guy opposite him who can speed rush, bend the edge, duck under an OT.  Not just a pusher who is going to sit on OT shoulder and look into backfield.

But schematically it seems that's their tactic, more about coverage than rushing with 4 down lineman.  Send some different pressures, drop out 9 a lot too.  Keep QB off balance.

Is there any chance this is a mirage and BC is actually terrible?

Maybe. But. Unlikely. I think we still the best of the west. Backup qb and rb. Yup. I think we are pretty good.

A week ago, the Rider media & fans were bragging on social media that the Riders had the best qb room in the CFL. Think again, Priders.

Their defense is.  If you control their pass rush they are really bad.  Last year like Jim Daley era Bombers bad in the back end.  And mostly same guys back.

They don't seemed to have made any major changes.
