bb1 Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago I also like Nield from Sask..thought he came up with some clutch catches..would add depth at least. rebusrankin 1
17to85 Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago Nield isn't a guy to change much about a receiving corps. Emilus though, yeah I think he's a pretty under rated guy around the league. rebusrankin and Bigblue204 2

Or maybe even retire. Sounds like he's really contemplating retirement. And who can blame him? Going out on top isn't always possible and this is likely his only chance. Clercius didn't really take a step forward this year. Nield is fine depth but wouldn't want him starting. Booch 1

Those 3 aren't earning a combined $500K. Closer to $375K-$400K range. Even if that were true, you have to replace them with 3 other players. On ELC's that's still $74K per player. 17 hours ago, rebusrankin said: I'd get rid of Logan. ME too. IMO Logan, Schoen and Mitchell shouldn't be back. Edited 2 hours ago by Blue In BC rebusrankin 1

I think 375K-400K is a good approximation. Holm was outstanding this year - and I have no problem with him and his salary. Kramdi at ~135K is too much - but he can play - but he is definitely not elite. Thomas - serviceable back in his first 6 years or so, but has really, really declined - and is a detriment physically to the play of the D -Line now. I appreciate his heart, and his dedication to the Bombers, and should be moved to a non-playing position - maybe learning how to coach, or perhaps the back/front office.

Combined income of 380k according to press reports at the time of their signings. Replacing them with 3 rookies you are looking at 220k and losing a NAT starter and all star DB. Probably not where I would trim the roster with the exception of Thomas. There are 8 other teams in this league that would jump at Kramdi at 135k. That is not a high contract for a NAT at all. Schoen wont even be physically ready to start any real kind of practicing until late season...he shouldnt even be considered for 2026...of ever 1 hour ago, GCn20 said: Combined income of 380k according to press reports at the time of their signings.
