2025 CFL (Non-Bombers) Season

From 3DN about TSN broadcasts this year....

"The CFL on TSN is taking a renewed approach to its broadcasts for 2025.

The network’s panel will travel to all nine stadiums over the course of the upcoming season, sources told 3DownNation, including visits to Regina and Montreal in Week 1. Kate Beirness is returning to host the panel with Henoc Muamba and Davis Sanchez filling the main roles alongside her.

Paul LaPolice will also frequently appear on the panel, though he will also perform colour commentary for one game per week. As previously reported, longtime panelist and Hall of Fame quarterback Matt Dunigan is no longer with the network.

As for Milt Stegall, who has been with the network since 2009, there is no timeline for his return after the death of his eldest son, Chase. The 20-year-old died unexpectedly at DePaul University on Monday where he was a member of the school’s soccer team.

“Our CFL on TSN family is absolutely devastated over Chase’s passing. If you know Milt, you know that his family is everything to him, and we cannot imagine the pain he is going through right now,” said producer Chris Edwards in a statement to 3DownNation. “Milt is our brother and we are going to give him our love and support him in any way we can, and in whatever way he needs.”

During a broadcast teeing up the 2025 season on Tuesday, TSN dedicated its coverage this year to Chase’s memory.

TSN plans to flesh out the panel by rotating in active players, though it doesn’t appear as though this will happen every week. Players will generally make panel appearances during bye weeks, though there may also be opportunities for in-studio appearances when players are in town to play the Argonauts or Tiger-Cats.

Friday Night Football, a longtime network staple, will have a brand new presentation featuring fresh animations, graphics, and music. One source called the scope of the production “bigger.”

The play-by-play personnel at the network has remained unchanged for 2025, featuring Rod Smith, Dustin Nielson, Marshall Ferguson, and occasionally Farhan Lalji. Colour commentary will be performed by Glen Suitor, Duane Forde, and LaPolice."

Honestly the main selling point of the CFL are the timing rules of the final 3 minutes.  And arguably the most boring part of any NFL game when a team with a one score lead can just bleed the clock un

When we were living in Saskatchewan, the wife and I attended a couple of Bomber games at the old stadium. It was mostly fun and an intimate experience although there seemed to be more than average numbers of jackholes who were rude and crude.

That whole province is a **** hole... It's what happens if Rural Alberta gets to be a whole province. Hard pass from me...

oh 100%. I’ve run into way more of those than you’d think normal in my ventures into saskabush.

The border is only two hours from home, but then it's another 5-6 hours to get there 😂

the stadium is kind of small time but damn is it a fine place to watch a game on a summer night.  Love the setting up on the mountain with the campus buildings wrapping around the stadium. Absolutely gorgeous scenery.  Need to get back there someday.

What a joke thanks to Randy Ambrosie. He actually believd that the Maritimes could support the CFL? All it took was 6 years to get the money back. Imagine what a **** show that franchise would have been?

Pinball will give Osh a blank cheque... Curious to see if he takes it.

Crazy indeed. I was just opining that we would offer him a similar role...

I still can't believe the Argos messed up that badly. Their problems didn't occur because of Dinwiddie. Pinball kind a seems like a coach killer...

I wonder if toronto makes the same offer to Mos, boy this off season could be real interesting.

Right? They already have some of his old buddies too in Eiben, Marshall, and costanza.

Dinwiddie is a hell of a coach. As a GM, who knows? The talent pipeline coming in to Ott isn't anywhere near what it was in TO.  How he does will depend a lot on which of the scouting team comes with him.

With the restrictive nature of the front office cap, I think this is more of the future. AGM/Senior DPP assisting with in-season stuff and letting the coach run more of the team.

I think ott has a lot of good pieces already, if Dinwiddie pilfers the argos like usually happens they should be in real good shape next year.

Yeah...why couldn't we have dangled that carrot

Ott got exponentially better in one swift move

We could have done the same...He plays best players...plays no favorites...will pull a guy mid game..heck mid drive

Schooled us in 2 cups

Damn...but good job ottawa

If Toronto is looking for a replacement I know a real up-and-coming offensive co-ordinator that might fit.

Yup...and a HC with a track record...back up the truck...please

Dinwiddie has a good hand in recruitment and lotsa connections...wayyyy more than osh and walters combined

Not sure about him as a GM but Dinwiddie is an excellent coach. Would have loved to have him as our coach.

This makes the QB situation in the east even more interesting. Dinwiddie was tight with Arbuckle.

I can't imagine he will want to bring him or the pest to Ott when they have brown. (Boy brown and Dinwiddie could be a deadly combo) And Idk if Arbuckle wants to go back to ott lol.

The replacement in Toronto might choose the pest over Arbuckle.

That is, of course, if Mos doesn't go and take Zach back to the market nearest his home LOL

Kudos to ott for not sitting waiting and getting their 2026 rolling...take note Miller before we relegated to settling...again

I could 100% see Osh going home and taking both Zach and Brady with him... Tho Zach is under contract so it'd have to be some kinda trade.

I doubt BO would follow Osh anywhere

I can see O’Shea going back home, can also see ZC wanting to back out east, but Brady I don’t see it
