oddly enough tho thru camp and just skill wise he looked the most pro ready of the guys we brought in....did it translate on field..no....but also was it how we used him?...I didnt ee him as a swing and hittch guy but more a spread the field...more intermediate and deep routes and we never did that with him...Thats on Buck and glad he gone as he really had not clue how to utilize particular players particular talents and skill sets...I bet he looks totally different in the Hammer

we could have stocked our cupboards....filled our needs and left him out there and then signed him after all the signing flurry ended across the league...he would have still been there and we likely could have signed him for less saying this is all we got...and he would have took it if he wanted to continue being a pro ball player...that was my biggest issue....he wasnt a priority, and if someone did scoop him....no loss and made some of our 2025 roster decisons pre-made for us...as in...he wont be in it

I still not sold on Lawler being gone tho either...from my understanding he wanted 2 yrs here...The market as is now wont garner him more than 250k ....between 200 and 250 here...with part of it as possible incentive based...is totally doable

I wasn't either, but Ed tait tweeted that Lawlers people let the team know he's going to move on....is it a bluff? Maybe. But doesn't sound great.

Rhymes could be a decent add at the right price. 

Love Kenny but if he wants to chase the money again so be it.

Yeah I don't know how the team was ready to walk away from him in 2018 but don't seem to be able to do it 7 years later?

So be it. Love the guy when he plays but also don't like the value received on his contract. Maybe Hamilton gets him a full 18....but I highly doubt it.

He will likely play 18 games for them, so long as the contract is 2 years or longer lol. 
I’d bet my house on the under of him playing a full pre season through the playoffs. 

Lawler is a great player but he just vibes as its all about Kenny. Would have liked some loyalty after we paid him so well and put up with his stupidity (DUI, not getting his immigration status sorted).

I’m a fan of Kenny but man almost 300k again for him is crazy stuff.  Poor value really. Dobson as highest paid oline is wild to me.

Hamilton winning the off season cup again. Along with Edmonton. That never translates to victories on the field tho.

Rhymes the push off artist. I dunno. I think I’d rather they find one receiver. Shouldn’t be difficult to find one.

The way I look at it, we now have one less streaky player on our starting roster.
